I just can't keep myself from constantly referring back to older plots, even though it makes it harder to get into. I do try to have some independent elements to keep total confusion from happening, but it's always great when somebody reads the whole thing, because then the writer and the reader are on the same page (at such times when I'm actually on the page, and not scribbling in the margins somewhere...) It is kind of odd, isn't it? It's supposed to be a weird contrast, which is exactly why it has to go here, after we find out about her friends.
(She, of course, has not.)
But they are at work...just pulled an all-nighter or two on that thing. Got to take what chances you can...there might not be another...
