Whoah... one thing that has always stuck out in your comics is the wide use of props, and this is a good example of what is possible to do in these comics :)

And hey, no way ya can blame Kup/Brakedown there! XD IT was his pine eaten by a motorized biting wolf head thing!

Yeah, I should have piled on the 'great sets' bandwagon. They do look good. :thumb

    Folks:
Thanks for all the comments! I enjoy making the sets, although it might be said there's much less here than meets the eye. Most of what you see in that first panel is a $10 set of childrens' wooden blocks and gray spray paint. The shrubbery is lichen moss from the craft store. The cupola in right foreground is a spray can top.

Of course a magician cannot reveal all his secrets. :sly2:

Our regularly scheduled Monday comic was postponed 1 day due to the holiday...

The BRT staff hopes all readers had a relaxing and reflective holiday.

P.S. We had a good barbecue.
One of my brothers & I were in charge of entropy production.
It went well and the hamburgers were excellent. :)

Yep, it was a good holiday. I recognize the jeep go-bot on the right, but the rest I just can't make out, but I suspect are all go-bots also. Looks like one of them borrowed Prime's gun too! The Fallen as head BBQ lighter and keeper of the flame was good, and it looks like we'll be Cooking with Silverbolt!

    Nice respectful comic there chief!

That's a nice little Memorial Day comic. Fun, but with some genuine sentiment too. :thumb

    O:
Jeeper Creeper is actually the only GoBot per se. Next to him and a bit back is a knockoff of GoBot Man-O-War. On the far left of the picture is McBeast "Panther", then Kup himself (wielding a knockoff of Prime's laser rifle), and in the back is a KO Robot Masters Victory Leo (making the V-for-victory sign, of course).

I basically used Prime's gun only because I had a few of them, and needed something with a 5mm peg, and couldn't seem to find anything more generic that would fit Kup's closed-ended pegholes. Not the best choice. I should have gone for something more generic.

I chose the figures to represent Kup's comrades-in-arms largely at random. There is one exception which will be apparent to the three or four sufferers who may have read this comic from early on. :D

As always, the little details in that strip were wonderful, even down to the sheild above the fireplace that gets replicated in the photo.

Not only detailed and funny, but very poignant this time as well. :thumbs2:

New strips funny, and now I can't get that sond outta my head! iTunes to the rescue!!

As for the mem. day strip, I totally missed Kup being in there. I was too focused on the gun. didn't see the peace sign either, nice job. Thanks for pointing it all out, cuz it woulda been non-appreciated effort otherwise, and it was a good tribute piece.

They're quite small. In fact, none of my sets in this current chapter has been more than 2 feet by 4 feet.

There are actually three sets visible in the last photo. The skyline is all of 16" wide and 2 feet deep. Behind it is a far-background set. The foreground was built to a slightly larger 'scale', and is about 1 feet wide and 2 feet deep. These three were separately set up. I built the skyline, took a lot of photos from different angles for future use, and took it down, then built the foreground, got that shot, etc. Hacker was photographed separately on a plain backdrop and then the whole mess was GIMPed together with some 'airbrushing'.

    O:
You're welcome, and thanks for the positive feedback. However, I was going for V-for-victory...more Churchill, less Woodstock. :D
