Been a very long time since we've seen you, or your comic. I just reread it in about ten-twenty minutes, and it all came flooding back to me.
So yeah, it's been a year and a half hasn't it? Got bogged down with work and other stuff, which forced me to set aside the toys for a while and do actual adult stuff. But, last weekend I finally broke down and decided to clean off my table (i.e. stage), so I figured what better time to bring back the funny? You may have noticed I cleaned up the table of contents in the first post. I also started putting links to the next comic on each comic post, to ease browsing from one comic to the next, but I'm only about 1/3 of the way done with those. I also fixed an image link problem from Ep 10, which was clogging up the works. So all that, plus new comic, equals the return of THiRfI! Thirfi, that's fun to say. I'm prepping hardcore for upcoming conventions (gonna hit Botcon for a day, then doing staff stuff for Anime Expo) so I won't be TOO heavy into updates in June. I'm hoping to get one up before Botcon and then a con report shortly after that. So yeah, hopefully I'll get this back off the ground!
Episode 33 - Of Walls and Mouths In mid 2012, some guy decided to take some pictures and post them with funny words. Shortly into 2013 he got busy (lazy). A year later, he teased a redux, but again got busy (lazy). Here we are 2 years later and it seems I'm finally making good on my promise! Stick around, I've got new figures, new ideas and hopefully, more Swerve! Episode 34
Alright! I'm getting caught up on this one! I saw the first comic, and with this new teaser, I'm going to need to read this one in its entirety.
It is uplifting seein' resurrected comics Welcome back. Hopefully not literally enough for all the pieces not to be found XD
Thanks guys. I've been wanting to start back up for so long. I finally had a lull in the crazy, plus an influx of ideas (did a recent marathon from All Hail Megatron to current in the comics and I'm LOVING them. you can see that beginnings of a Lost Light crew in the newest episode.) So I'm going to try my best and keep the original feel of the comic, trying not to introduce too many new characters too quickly (hard with 4 years worth of new figs). I'm not sure how quick I can get back to MWF updates, but I'm going to be working on the next story arc this week, wherein Cyclonus deals with the loss of not only his mentor, but also the chaos god they both served, with some help from Warpath, he seems a good shoulder to cry on. (just make sure it's not the shoulder with the mounted SRM) UPDATE: well, that was odd. Going through some cataloging I noticed I had doubled up and made TWO episode 30s. Numbering has been fixed. As well, the links on the front post as well as the "Next episode" links in each comic post have been updated and added! So now if you want to skip the comments between comics you can!
Just read through the other strips, I think I'll stick around on this one. These are really well done and funny, good job!
All right, here's the pitch. We're gonna start back into MWF updates starting this week! I've got scripts down for quite a few new episodes, so this weekend will be for clearing up the stage and blocking them out. As a teaser, here are the titles for this week's coming up episodes featuring Cyclonus, Warpath and at least one NEW resident of Dranox... Episode 34 - CATCHPHRASE! Episode 35 - How does that make you feel? Episode 36 - Interdimensional Pavlovian Triggers Stay tuned!
As sokeone who takes hiatus from his comic every other week/time he tires to do soemthing big..Welcome back lol!
Episode 34 - CATCHPHRASE! It's great to be back guys. We're starting in to what I call the "loose ends" arc. The Death Star thing has had some odd effect on our friends in Dranox. It's gonna be an interesting time cleaning up. If you don't get the joke at the end, I'll explain next time, for now I'll leave it as a surprise for those who don't know. Episode 35
Previously on THiRfi: Episode 25 Episode 31 Episode 35 - How does that make you feel? Another new arrival, Tailgate! For those who don't know the "finger to the head" thing, it's kinda spoiler-ish of the MtMtE comic, but you can check it out on his bio if you really want to know. I always liked how MtMtE gave spotlights to non-traditional bots. They took the repaints of Windcharger, Gears and Huffer and decided to flesh them out (though Pipes didn't fair well). Episode 36
