It's refreshing to see Screamer return to his origins...as a Seeker. But noble in words and noble in deeds are two vastly different things. Exactly what would he be training new Seekers for anyway?
Hmm. I meant more did people figure out how Shokkers was making new Sparks? I am adhering fairly strongly to alt-mode scale for this story. Anything with a ground-based mode needs to be roughly 1/24 scale, to fit with the BinalTechs. Anything with an air-based mode needs to be roughly 1/60, that being what MP Starscream is. Obviously it's not exact - the Human Alliance figures are a bit underscale, and the valkyries are officially 1/48 (though Jetfire is bigger than Starscream anyway, so his "Cybertronian Aircraft Mode" is presumably larger than a Valkyrie and thus it all works.) So alas, neither of your suggestions will do. But I'm actually very pleased that you made a guess, I'm so happy when people engage on my story! Perpetuate the species? Yes, all the different factions have different dreams and goals for the Transformers species as a whole. But something all of them are agreed on is that repopulation is necessary. There are about 40 left, out of billions. That makes a need for babies. Also... I think Starscream outlined his vision of Cybertronian society a chapter back. Didn't he? I've got the story roughed out through chapter 10 and written through chapter 8 -and-a-half, so I get lost sometimes. So his goals should be known. But his methods? Well, that's still coming.

I apologise for the irregular posting cycle. I've mentioned that I'm back in school part time; I also no longer have real internet at home. These two factors are wreaking havoc with the posting schedule. However, here's a scene I've been eagerly anticipating, because I identify with Optimus very strongly in this sequence. Without further ado: (And yes, "ado" is correct. "Adieu" is french for "goodbye." "Ado" is an English word meaning "fuss or bother." And if anyone who can speak French says them, they don't even sound the same. Since "without further adieu" is one of my pet peeves, I thought I'd take the opportunity to comment on it without seeming like I'm criticizing a particular person. )
Interesting twist: Hot Rod being asked to step up and become a Prime. We've seen him unexpectedly take that mantle on, as well as being groomed for that role, but I've never seen quite this take. Great stuff! Loved the sunset image in the Grimlock/Ravage battle. And I think you missed a "the" in the 2nd panel. I do that all the time; annoys me no end when I spot it 30 seconds after I've uploaded!
Yeah... my thinking was that it was contingency planning that never got needed; Hot Rod's always been shortlisted for Optimus' successor (not that Prowl agrees) but it's never happened. That's a nuke, not a sunset, going behind the couch. And yup, I surely do seem to be missing a word...
Just caught up there, and I have to say I'm really liking the story, mostly because of your unique take on things. I'm finding Starscream's story/character particularly interesting Keep up the good work!

As always, I prefer to let the story do its own talking - but since it's coming in chunks, I'll just remind everyone that Ravage has his own agenda, and may not be entirely honest at all times... And there we are! Next will be another episode of We Lost A Package. Unfortunately, I can't give a timeline on that. Usually at this point I'm done photography and getting ready to start into the post-production... but school has been eating time and energy, with the result that I've not even started photography. And it's not going to be the simplest photography ever, either. So. It's coming, and will be here when it gets here! In the meantime, discussion and speculation are great ways to keep my interest engaged. hint, hint.
This seems interesting. I have a sneaking suspicion that Ravage is looking to send Shockwave to see his death at the hands of the Autobots, but who really knows what that cat is up to
