    Scene 2:

    2-01: Bikes zooming along.
    Text: The Badlands.
Cyclis [white one] : Brimstone! I’m seeing aircraft!
    B: Where, Cyclis? Report properly!

    2-02:
B {C/u}: I swear, you femmes are so--

2-03: B screeching to a halt as Sil lands in front of him.

    2-04:
B: Stand aside! We are Decepticon warriors on a vital mission!
    Sil: Oh, dry up, Brimmie.

    2-05: B transforming.

    2-06:
B {raging}: I will rip you limb from limb, female! I am --
    o/c: Loud.

    2-07:
Sil: But not all that effective, are you? You always did just coast on our work.

2-08: B & the ladies, who are in bot mode now.
    B: I will not --
    Nightracer: Silhouette? Is that you?
Cyclis: We thought you were dead!

    2-09:
Sil: Primus no, I’m not dead. I got a better offer! Roadhugger biffed it though. That was awesome! One shot, pow!

    2-10: B pushing femmes aside.
B:You lie! Roadhugger was a mighty warrior, one of the best of our generation. No-one could poss--
    f/x whoosh!

    2-11: Thrust hovering, botmode.
Th: Wow. Shockers really did a bad job of teaching you guys, didn’t he?

2-12: bikes, with Sil at back.
    N: Who’s that? He’s buff!
Sil: That’s Thrust. And you can’t have him, ‘Racer, he’s mine.

    2-13: B and Th (who’s landed).
    Th: Er…
    B: uk!

    2-14: Sil and the femmes
S: Thrust is a Seeker, and their leader is so much less of a skidmark than Shockwave! They let me actually do things, and made me a body that can fly!

    2-15:
Flamewar: Well, doesn’t that just make you all kinds of special.

    2-16:
SIl: Yeah, it does. Course, you could have a shell like this, too - if you can hack it.

    2-17:
    B: I’ll hack you!

2-18: B being lifted by Th.
    B: Uck!
Th: Hush, child, the women are talking.

    2-19:
Cyclis: You musta done something major to get a shell like that.
Flamewar: Probably jacked with all of them.

    2-20:
Sil: Ha. Ha. No, just him, and just once. Starscream wants quality, not quantity.

    2-21:
N: What did you do, then?
SIl: I showed them how jacking works. They didn’t know!

    2-22:
C: What? You gave them our secrets?
    B: Traitor!

    2-23:
B: You cannot deny it now, glitch! You are a traitor to the Decepticons!

    2-24:
B: All of you! Destroy her!

    2-25:
S: Maybe I am! So what? What did the Decepticons do for me besides use me?

    2-26:
S: Time to make a choice, sisters! Stay with him, take his abuse and his orders that he passes down from on high because he’s not smart enough to come up with his own.

    2-27:
S, c/u: Or stand with me, and make your own choices about the future.

    2-28: Tableau, silent.

    2-29:
    C: I’m sorry, Silhouette.

    2-30: C standing beside B.
C: I like working with Brimstone, and I owe Shockwave my life. I love you, sister, but I can’t support you.

    2-31: N standing beside S.
N: Hell with that. Shockwave don’t care about you, Cyclis, or me. Hey, too-tall! You got brothers as buff as you?

    2-32:
    Th: Many.
    N: Fine. I’m in, Sil.

    2-33:
B: So be it! Join your sister in death! Cyclis, Flamewar, destroy them!

    2-34:
F: Y’know I’ve been just gagging for a chance to have a real fight. Looks like my dreams come true today!

    2-35: F shooting B.
F: But I don’t like being yelled at! Slag you, Brimstone!

2-36: Several frames of the littles shooting at each other, no-one really getting an upper hand, lots of bad tactics - none of these really know what they’re doing, they’re just charge-in-guns-blazing sorts.

    2-37: Th looking at comlink.
Coms: What, you can’t handle it yourself?
Th: Sure, if you want ‘em in itty-bitty pieces! I don’t have null-rays! Just get your skidplate over here, so we can get a prisoner.
Coms: Fine, fine. I’m on my way.

2-38: Sil on her back. B standing over her.
B: Don’t feel bad, little girl. This was inevitable.

    2-39:
    Sil: Oh, blow me.

2-40: Sil using her jets on B’s face.

2-41: B staggering back in pain.
    F/x: Vworrp {in the corner.}

    2-42: N, F shooting B, who blows up.

2-43: Cyclis facing off against the rest.
    Sil: Give up, sister!
    C: No!

    2-44:
    C: Just because you’re many doesn’t mean you’re right! You’ll have to kill --

    2-45: C doing a phaser glow thing.

2-46: C crumpled, as Skywarp points nullrays at her.
Th: Or we could go for door number three.

    2-47:
    N: Is she dead?
    SW: Nah, just paralysed.

    2-48:
Sil: What are you going to do with her?
Th: We’ll drop her Spark into storage for now, and see if we can’t change her mind about working with us. Or maybe trade her to Jetfire, or something. That’s Starscream’s call, really.

    2-49:
N: So she’s a slave now. Are we slaves?
    Th: She’s a prisoner. You’re not.

    2-50:
SW: Ladies, my name is Skywarp. My boss would like to meet you. Can I offer you a ride?

    2-51:
    N: Nightracer.
F: Flamewar. Are we going to fly?

    2-52:
    SW: Ah - not exactly.

    2-53: SW holding both
    sw: Comfy?
    N: Sure!
    F: er…

    2-54: SW jumping out.

    2-55:
Sil: Woah. How come you can’t do that?
Th: It’s - complicated. You okay?

    2-56:
Sil: Yeah, sure. So. Back to the lesson, right?
Th: Uh - sure, babe. If you want.

    Scene 3
3-01: Interior, Fort Nemesis. Shockwave, Motormaster, Rage.
Coms: Shockwave, this is Ravage. I have yet to see our scouts.
Shockwave: Acknowledged. Brimstone, this is Shockwave. Report.

    3-02:
    SW {c/u}: Brimstone, report immediately.

    3-03:
Rage: There is no reason for them to be out of contact.
SW: Agreed. I think we must assume the scouts have been intercepted.

    3-04:
MM: I can send out another patrol.
SW: No. We require all the primary warriors for the assault, and the remaining light fighters are too inexperienced.

    3-05:
SW: Your Stunticons will form a vanguard to warn us of any surprises, Motormaster, but you will not be a patrol. Summon the Decepticons. It is time to attack!

    3-06:
    MM: At once my lord!
    R: Yes, my lord!

3-07: Exterior, Fort Nemesis. All the ‘Cons assembled in front of the gate, botmode.
Shockwave: Decepticons! Four million years ago, we began a war to end corruption and indolence. To halt torture and injustice, to place the rule of Cybertron in the hands of those best suited for it!

    3-09:
SW {c/u}. It has been a long, long war. We have suffered setbacks. But the end is in sight! We have the means to make new Decepticons! We have weapons the Autobots cannot withstand! We have the power to forge a victory!

    3-10:
SW: The war began 4 million years ago. But it ends! Today!
    SW: Decepticons:

    3-11: SW facing everyone.
    SW {fx speech}: ATTACK!

3-12: Everyone in alt mode, rolling out.

3-13: Mirage, in alt mode, watching them all leave.
Mirage : Well. This could get a bit sticky.

    Scene 4:

4-01: Interior, Bridgehead. Prime, Magnus, Ironhide, Ratchet, Wheeljack, Alert, Prowl.
Prowl: This is bad. We have about three hours until they arrive.

    4-02:
Alert: There are a lot of them. Still, the gate cannons are massive. I don’t care how Shokkers has optimised that armour, he won’t stop those.

    4-03:
Ironhide: Ah say it’s about time we settled this! Shockwave wants t’spare us the walk, fine by me!

    4-04:
I: We can take ‘em, right?
    Prime: No.
    I: Right - wait, no?

    4-05:
Prime: Shockwave is arrogant and detached, but he is not a fool. He is well aware of the gate cannons, and he will have a plan for dealing with them. I note that Ravage is not in the assault force.

    4-06:
WJ: Last time Shokkers attacked, we kicked his ass.
Prime: No. Last time, Shockwave was winning, and only Hun-Grr’s lack of control saved us.

    4-07:
Prowl: So what do we do?
PRime: Shockwave is expecting to fight a pitched battle here.

    4-08:
Prime: So we will do the unexpected. We will not fight, we will withdraw.

    4-09: Long shot
various: what? No! Prime, no! We can take ‘em!

    4-10:
Magnus: Optimus, Bridgehead is the strongest fortress on the planet. If we cannot beat Shockwave when we control the cannons, how do you expect to beat him when he does?

    4-11:
Prime: Shockwave is an excellent planner, but overly logical. We beat him by not reacting predictably. But I am not just going to hand him Bridgehead.

    4-12:
Prime: First, we need time. Arcee, this is Optimus Prime.
    Coms: Go ahead, Optimus.

    4-13:
PRime: There is a large Decepticon attack force approaching Bridgehead. Take your team and delay them. You are not to become fully engaged; harrass them, force them to stop and deploy, and then withdraw. Buy us time, Arcee, but do not get trapped.
Coms: Yes, Optimus. We’re on it.

    4-14:
    PRime: Good. Mirage!
    Coms: Yes, Prime?
Prime: Support Arcee. Use your initiative.
    Coms: Yes, Prime.

    4-15:
Prime: Now. To use that time. Prowl! We need a route and a rendezvous. Find us one.
    Prowl: Yes, Prime.

    4-16:
Prime: Good. Wheeljack! Is your new stunner ready?
    WJ: Almost? I have a semi-functioning prototype based off of Starscream’s null-rays.
    Prime: Not enough.

    4-17:
Prime: Pack the prototype and anything irreplaceable from your lab. If you, Skids, and myself cannot carry it, it doesn’t come. Render everything you leave behind unusable to Shockwave.

    4-18:
WJ: Er - right. Okay. I’m going down to the lab now!

    4-19:
Prime: We need to slow any pursuit as well. Hound, this is Optimus Prime.
Coms: Yes, Prime? Prime: The Decepticons are approaching in force. We are preparing a tactical withdrawal.

4-20: long. (WJ has left, PRowl is on computer).
    Coms: Ah, okay?
PRime: We need the Decepticons to think the walls are fully manned when they are not. Prepare holograms suitable to the task.
    Coms: Yes, Prime!

    4-21:
PRowl: Prime? I have a probable route. I need a patrol to verify it.
    PRime: Use the twins.
    Prowl: Yes, PRime.

    4-22:
PRime: Jazz, this is Optimus Prime.
    Coms: Whazzup, boss?
PRime: A major Decepticon attack is approaching. We are preparing to withdraw. But I intend to return. Have your team disable the gate and cannons, making sure that Shockwave cannot easily repair them. Ensure the damage is not obvious on the approach.
    Com: Got it, boss.

    4-23:
Prime: Ratchet. Shockwave undoubtabley has the BinalTech facilities as a major goal. If he wishes to use his Spark-creation technique, he needs to control some form of making shells.
R: I agree, but we need them too.

    4-24:
R: And they’re too big to carry away.
Prime: I know. Can you copy their operating software into something protable?
    R: I - . Hmm. Yes, I think I can.
    Prime: Do it.

    4-25:
PRime: Then pack up what you can of your medbay. Assume it must be carried by yourself and Ironhide.
R: Okay. I’m off to pack, then.

    4-26:
PRime: Magnus - you are our best soldier, but also the only one who can carry the new Shell. Have Hot Rod assist you in loading it. Then have him take his team to harass the Decepticons.
    M: Understood, Optimus.

    4-27:
    Prime: What have I forgotten?
Ironhide: I dunno, but I hope it ain’t much. You’ve got almost everyone doin’ somethin’!
    Alert: The computer core.

    4-28:
Prime: Yes, of course. Can you?
Alert: I’ll handle it, sir. The cores proper Prowl and I can carry, and that will let us recover the system when we return. The auxillary stations I can booby-trap, so they self-destruct when someone tries to use them.

    4-29:
Prime: With Shockwave and Rage coming, you should assume the Decepticons will defeat your booby-trap. Make sure they get nothing useful if they do.
    Alert: Right, good thinking sir.

    4-30:
Prowl: There are a half-dozen Decepticons in the Spark Containment Facility. What do we do with them?

    4-31:
Prime: Leave them. We can’t transport more than two of them at once, and have no-where to put them anyway.
Prowl: Is it wise to let Shockwave rescue them?

    4-32:
Prime: There is no-one of great significance there. Shockwave still won’t have bodies for them, anyway. The only other choice is to turn off the SCF, and murder our prisoners. I won’t do that.

    4-33:
    Prowl: No, of course not.
Ironhide: Why am Ah still here?
Prime: I have a task for you that needs to be kept - discrete. I’ll brief you in a moment.

    4-34:
Prime {c/u}. Autobots! This is Optimus Prime! We are preparing to withdraw, because Shockwave has designed this battle, and so I will not fight it. But we are not surrendering!

Try to stage this so that bots doing tasks are hearing it on coms.

For the last six years, we have been slowly winning. But we gave Shockwave time. That was my mistake. I will not make it again! We give him a hollow victory here - we tie him down to a useless fortress, a place we know, inside and out. An indefensible fortress, by the time we leave, but one that is essential to his goals. So Shockwave will not dare abandon it. He will be forced to fight to preserve it. And we Autobots, proud survivors of Cybertron, will use that against him. We will trap Shockwave in a battle of our choosing - and in so doing, finally bring about the end of this war. I am Optimus Prime. And I swear to you, Autobots - this day will see our long struggle finally brought to a close. Now. Complete your tasks, swiftly and prepare to - ROLL OUT.

    Scene 5:

5-01: Int. Jetfire’s Orbital Base. Jetfire and Gunnrunner talking.
    O/c: Jetfire!

    5-02: Glyph stalking up
Gl: The station sensors report a massive Decepticon force headed for Bridgehead.

    5-03: Twoshot.
    JF: I know.
Gl: You know? What are you doing about it?
    JF: Nothing.

    5-04:
Gl: Nothing!? Those fanatics are about to attack my friends!

    5-05:
JF: Prime is no less a fanatic than Shockwave. Both of them actively pursue death. Why should I choose one over the other?

    5-06:
Gl: What? The Decepticons killed billions in their quest for tyranny! Prime fights for freedom and justice.

    5-07:
Gr: The war began as Megatron’s quest for justice and equality. People change.

    5-08:
JF: If you run the numbers, I think you’ll find “billions” is hyperbole. During the three thousand years from Megatron’s first uprising until the Decepticons gained effective control of Cybertron, roughly 1.2 billion people died.

    5-09:
JF: That’s a huge number, but it’s not billions. And about a third of those casualties can be laid at the Autobots’ feet.

    5-10:
JF: And then, for the next four million years, the Decepticons established the most equitable society Cybertron has ever had.
Gl: Oh, lugnuts! You’re trying to tell me Decepticon rule was good?

    5-11:
JF: It was fairer than the Senate, and it killed less people. Remember, I was there. Official executions were higher under the ‘Cons, but accidental deaths, murders, and especially disappearances were much, much lower. The overall death rate under Shockwave was half that of the Senate.

    5-12:
Gr: And like it or not, the ‘Cons had a society where everyone had the same chance: prove you were strong enough. People got power under their rule because of their abilities, not because of their origin or at someone’s whim.

    5-13:
Gl: So why aren’t you all with the Decepticons then?
JF: Strength and fighting prowess are not the abilities I would build a society on. But you’re missing the point.

    5-14:
JF: The Senate was corrupt and evil. No-one disputes that. Megatron took it down with violence, and that led to a war that lasted three millenia. Then Prime took the Ark out and vanished, Megatron vanished with him, and Shockwave won the war. For four million years, Cybertron lived under their rule - longer than any other leadership ever lasted.

    5-15:
JF: It was not the best world we’ve ever had. I hated it so much, I left as soon as I could manage, to explore the universe instead. But it was stable, and predictable, and the average ‘Tron could live a life without too much unpleasantness, if they wanted.

    5-16:
JF: And then Prime came back. And he started the war again. And this time, the fighting led to the destruction of Cybertron and the deaths of everyone who was on it.

    5-17:
JF: There were more than eight billion people on Cybertron when Prime woke up. Now there are less than a hundred of us, Autobots, Decepticons, Seekers, and Searchers combined. And still Shockwave and Prime flail away in the wreckage.

    5-18:
JF: I fought when there seemed to be a point. And then I fought because Starscream was my mess, and I needed to clean it up. But now? None of what’s happening down there is my fault. None of it is my problem. Let them kill each other off, and be done with it.

    5-19: Glyph, silent and sad.

    5-20:
Gl: Maybe all that’s true. But the Autobots are still my friends. I can’t just sit here and watch them die.

    5-21:
Gr: What else are you going to do, Glyph? You can’t take on the ‘Cons alone. Bridgehead won’t recognise that Shell - head down like that, and the fortress will fire on you.

    5-22:
    Gl: I could warn them!
Gr: They all ready know. Autobot patrols are harassing the Decepticon column, and it looks like the Bots are preparing a fall-back position to the west.

    5-23:
Gr: Face it. You’re out of the war now. Time to accept it.

    5-24:
Gl: You might be out of the war, Gunrunner. You never did get over Tarron Nine, and maybe you need the rest. But I’m not ready to quit.

5-25: Gl in JF’s personal space.
Gl: And as for you - you are not the ‘Tron I fell for, all those years ago. You used to know right from wrong - and hiding on the sidelines isn’t right.

    5-26:
Gl: I choose to be part of the world, and that means doing what I can to help it. I don’t know what that is, but I’m smart. I’ll figure something out.

    5-27: Gl walking away
Gl: If you want to be in my life, you’ll have to join me in the world. I’m sure you can find me.

    5-28: JF, Gr being silent.

5-29: Gr: Dude, you got problems.

    Scene 6:

6-01: Exterior. The Badlands. Hound, Prowl, Alert, Prime.
H: It looks like they’re settling in. There’s no sign of pursuit.
    OP: Good.

    6-02:
OP: We need to prepare our counter-attack. That has two parts - equipment, and plans. Prowl, you and I will work on a plan to draw the Decepticons into the fight we want to fight.

    6-03:
OP: Alert, co-ordinate the technically inclined. Our needs are straightforward: adapt our existing weapons for maximum effectiveness against Shockwave’s BinalTechs, complete the Generation Two Incapacitators, and find a way to transfer Hot Rod into his new shell.

    6-04:
Alert: That’s - sir, the weapons we can handle in the field, mostly, and Wheeljack says he can finish the Incapacitator. But transferring a Spark requires specialised gear we just don’t have!

    6-05:
OP: Nevertheless, that is the only other Shell we have that is not vulnerable to Shockwave’s weapons. We must do what we can.
    A: Yes, sir.

    6-06:
    OP: Now --
Com: Optimus, this is Arcee. You’re needed at the south perimeter.
    OP: What is happening?
Coms: Uh - there’s someone here to see you.

    6-07:
    Prowl: Hunh. I didn’t think they’d show.
OP: But they did. Now, will they help?
OP: Arcee, I am on my way.

    6-08:
    Text: Not long later.
OP: Where are our - guests?
A: Just around the corner, I didn’t want them too close.

    6-09: Prime walking
    OP: Understandable.

6-10: Combaticons standing about. Ricochet and Streak watching them.
    Onslaught: Prime. Here at last.

    6-11:
OP: Indeed. I have been busy, I fear.
    On: So I see.

    6-12:
On: You know, I half expected the rage to return when I saw you - you, who epitomise all that the Decepticons fought against. The authority of the corrupt Senate made corporeal.

    6-13:
    OP: And? Has it?
On: No. I wonder if I should worry about that.

    6-14:
Swindle: Well, I sure as frak worry about it! Admit it, you’ve brainwashed him!

    6-15:
OP: I would not want to take the credit away from those who did the hard work - but the therapy program was activated on my orders, yes.

    6-16:
Sw: Therapy? You’ve turned him into your puppe--

6-17: Onslaught all up in Swindle’s face.
On: I may not find violence the best option any more, Swindle - but I am not required to take insults.
    Sw: Ulp.

    6-18:
On: At any rate. While there is certainly some room to wonder how much volition I have, ultimately I must act as if my choices were my own, or be paralysed by indecision.

    6-19:
OP: A debate - and a conclusion - many a philosopher has undergone before.

    6-20:
On: I’m sure. So. I presume, from your invitation, that you are open to my offer of alliance?

    6-21:
    Streak: Alliance!
OP: The Autobots have always been open for anyone to join, provided they will accept and follow our creed.

    6-22:
On: And if I don’t want to join?
OP: I will not pretend that your help is not needed. But - certain things cannot be contemplated, even for victory. Especially not now, when everything is at stake.

    6-23:
OP: We must stay true to our principles, or victory is meaningless.
On: And do those principles include a return to the old ways?
    Prowl: No.

    6-24:
Prowl: Restoring the Senate would be foolish. The Autobots stand for the right to choose a path, using any skills available, so long as no-one else is harmed. The Senate - did a lot of harm, four million years ago.

    6-25:
OP: And there is this. Our numbers are severely curtailed. Even when we discover Shockwave’s new method of creating Sparks, it will be a very long time before a complex government is called for.

    6-26:
On: Hmm. So. Here is my offer: I believe we are both in agreement that, if our race is to survive the war must end.
    OP: We are.
On: And that the only reasonable way to end the war is to either surrender to Shockwave, or defeat him.
    OP: Unfortunately, yes.

    6-27:
On: In that case, I offer the assistance of myself and my followers - our skills, weapons, and facilities are at your disposal. Once Shockwave is defeated, I intend to contest you for leadership of the Cybertronian people - but I shall use debate and persuasion, not violence.

    6-28:
OP: When the war is over, all of us will be free to choose our own path, bound only by laws agreed to by all. I will welcome your challenge, in that arena. But until then, you will follow my orders, and those of my commanders? And your people will be bound by our laws?

    6-29:
On: I will. And they will, on my responsibility.
    OP: Very well then.

    6-30: ON, OP shaking hands.
OP: I believe we have an alliance.

    Scene 7:

7-01: Ext. Badlands. Arcee and FLareup in Altmode, sitting among the Badlands.
Text: Meanwhile, on the far side of the Autobot camp:
F: I don’t like this, ‘Cee. It just seems wrong.

    7-02:
A: What do you mean, Flareup? A message from a dead person asking us to sneak out of camp all on our own? That seems totally legit to me.

    7-03:
F: Well, okay. If you don’t like it either, what are we doing here?
A: Two reasons. First, if someone’s pretending to be my friend, I want to know who, and why.

    7-04:
A: And second - what if it’s true?
    F: How can it?
A: I don’t know, but I have to find out. Just - stay ready to run.

    7-05:
    F: No worries there --
    f/x Whoosh!
    A: Seeker!

    7-06: Glyph, hovering
    G: I’m not a Seeker, Arcee.

7-07: F, A in bot mode, pointing weapons.
A: You aren’t anyone I’ve ever seen, either!

    7-08: G landed
    G: It’s just a new shell, Arcee. I’m Glyph.

    7-09:
    F: Glyph’s dead.
G: No, I was captured by Shockwave when I tried to back-hack him, and then taken by Starscream with all the other Sparks in Decepticon control.

    7-10:
A: And then Starscream built you a new body?
G: And then Starscream traded me to Jetfire, who built me a new body.

    7-11:
    F: Un-huhn. Sure.
A: Look, it’s possible, I agree, and you sound like Glyph. But there’s a lot of new folks floating around all a sudden. How do I know you’re you?

    7-12:
G: Nimbus IV. You, me, and Chromia were on leave. We ditched everyone else and ended up getting trashed on cheap engfex. After Chromia passed out, you and I --
    A: Okay! Enough!

    7-13:
F: Aw, I want to hear what happens next.
A: Tough. Okay, Glyph. I believe you. So - why so secret? What are you hiding from?

    7-14:
G: You have to ask? Everyone’s totally on edge. I swoop down on them in this shell, someone would shoot me before I got two words out.

    7-15:
G: I mean, you’re my best friend, Arcee, and even you don’t quite believe me yet.

    7-16:
    A: What? No, of course…
A: No, you’re right, I want to believe you, but there’s just been so much wrong the last - forever. Trust is hard, now.

    7-17:
    G: I understand.
F: So - it’s great you’re alive, it is, but what’s next? We stand out here chatting until Shockwave eats our face?

    7-18:
    A: Shockwave doesn’t have a mouth.
F: You know what I mean.
A: Hmm. She has a point, though. Let’s get you back to camp, Glyph.

    7-19:
    G: I - can’t.
    A: Why not?
G: I can’t stay. I have to go back to Jetfire. And if I go back to the camp, it will be so much harder to leave.

    7-20:
F: So, we’re in a fight for our lives - for all our lives - and you’re just gonna frak off back to your boyfriend? What did you come here for, then?

    7-21:
G: I came to tell my best friend that I wasn’t dead. Is that not worth a bit of your time, Flareup?

    7-22:
A: Look, Glyph, we’re up against a wall here. We need all the help we can get.
G: I know, I know! But I’m more help up on the station.

    7-23:
G: Jetfire doesn’t trust Prime. But - I’m working on it. I think, if I pull the right strings, I can get him to help take down Shockwave. But I can’t do that from down here, I have to be up there with him.

    7-24:
G: And I can get you imagery from orbit. The station is nearly directly above Bridgehead. So if Shockwave moves, you’ll know.
A: You could do that from here.

    7-25:
G: Not if Jetfire locks me out. I can prevent that topside, but not if I’m down here. And I’ve got one more thing.

    7-26:
    G holding out datadisc.
    A: What’s this?
G: Everything Jetfire knows about how Shockwave makes his new Sparks.
    A: What, really?

    7-27:
G: That’s the basis of JEtfire and Starscream’s detente: learning about this. The short version is: if you have the right gear, a male and female Cybertronian can merge their Sparks to make a new one.

    7-28:
    A: Wow.
F: That’s - how long does that take?
G: Making the Spark? Not long, a few minutes. What we don’t know is if this is long-term viable.

    7-29:
    A: Meaning what?
G: We’ve only been able to closely study one of the new Sparks. But we have her opinons on the others, and we’ve got good orbital imagery of most of them. And - these new Sparks appear to be unstable.

    7-30:
    F: Unstable?
G: Prone to hyperaggression, and lacking, um - most sentient beings have built-in limits that tell them when they’re in over their heads, and serve as a sort of “brake” on dangerous behaviour. These new Sparks lack that brake.

    7-31:
A: So - you’re saying that all of Shockwave’s new goons are actually crazy?
G: Um, well, that’s oversimplifying it.
A: But - when they attack, they’ll go all out, all the time, and never stop until we wreck them.

    7-32:
    G: Yes, probably.
F: Well, won’t that be fun.
A: Yeah - but we can use that, too.

    7-33:
A, {c/u}: Glyph, thank you. And thank you for telling us you’re okay. I’ve missed you.

    7-34: A, G hugging:
G: I’ve missed you too. I can’t imagine what it was like.

    7-35: Doing the hold-at-arms-length-thing/
G: Stay alive, Arcee. We’ve got a lot of catching up to do when this is over.
    A: You too, bookworm.

    TO BE CONTINUED.

... And I take pause at scene six because of other obligations. But it reads well.
