Oh, man, I hald almost forgotten about this comic. Glad to see it back! (Seems to be the season for comics to return.)
Anyone out there in TFW land? It's been over four years since I've been on here, and if anyone is disappointed by that or something, I'm very sorry. A lot of stuff was changing in my life and I had to prioritize the real world over the comic. But I do have some news, if anyone is still interested. My may-as-well-be-married girlfriend and I are rebooting Wheeljack & Wheeljack, Inc.! Because of how much trouble I've had with images breaking on TFW I've decided I'm going to host it on WordPress. I'll archive the original comics up there, and I'll post a brief summary of whatever I remember was going to happen during the Heroes Saga (which I will eventually be rebooting as well in a brand new way with a lead in to another story). At this point I don't know if/when any sort of reader insertion will happen but I do still have the list of everyone's original hody choices. I currently don't have a timeframe for the start but we're hoping for within the year. My plan at this moment is to post a panel here with a link to the full comic when we put up a new one. That way I can keep everyone here who might be interested in the loop. Thanks for being so supportive back when I first started this comic. It was always a highlight of my day when I got to see people react positively to my work and to be a part of this community. I hope you're willing to join my girlfriend, me, and, of course, Wheeljack and Wheeljack as we transform and roll out to the next part of our journey.
Thanks! Glad to see there's still support out here! As soon as I get everything sorted and I start archiving I'll let everyone know. I promise I won't take four years this time!
Quick update: Things are progressing nicely. I'm finishing getting all of the old content gathered and ready to be archived, I have a few necessities coming in the mail, and I'm hard at work on scripts. I've decided that in order to keep the thread appropriately formatted for the funnies section, I'm going to post the full updates here as well as on the WordPress. The WP will have extra content, however, including two (for now?) "Wheeljack & Wheeljack Presents" series. It's all part of my master plan to make sure people visit the site. But actually I just think it'll keep things more organized. We're already going to have both the standard brand of W&W goodness and the more serious stories, so keeping some less important stuff to the side will make it easier for everyone, I think. There's also going to be a bunch of other bonus stuff on there, too. If I execute it right, I intend for that to become a sort of "hub" with all of the content and information and whatnot. Look, I never said I was good at explaining logic, ok? Just roll with me. I do have some sad-ish news though. I had to replace the original Generations Wheeljack (CJ, if any of you happen to recall). His left arm would not stay on no matter how many fixes I tried. I got a new one today. I performed a spark transplant and all is well. His original body has been retired to vehicle mode. But who knows? Maybe it'll be useful yet... Just in case anyone has doubts about things, here's the proof I've been working: A brand new logo!
BREAKING NEWS: I have updated the posts for 8 original comics so the images are, at least for now, visible on here. Hopefully they'll stay at least until we get the WordPress up and running, though ideally they'll stay much longer than that. I'm working on getting the Heroes Saga and the specials up now. Then I'll update the table of contents, which is currently not linking to the correct posts. EDIT: All of the comics are up
not to be rude but there might have been a mistake with a couple of comics, i count 3 copies of the same comic at one point.
That's not rude that's super helpful, can you tell me which pages you're seeing them on so I can fix them asap?
WE. ARE. BACK. Welcome one and all to the new, bigger, better, shinier, and overall more awesome than ever Wheeljack & Wheeljack, Inc. In true universe reboot fashion, we're starting with a new #1, because why not follow the formula DC and Marvel use to piss everyone off? Wheeljack & Wheeljack, Inc. #1 -- Grand Opening
I sure hope so! I definitely feel like the new stuff I've written is exponentially better than the old material and I'm super excited to share it all!
