Well I myself think its kinda both and neither, the Gestalt Personality and spark, as said, based around on the components and creating its own persona... with as good results as you'd imagine with tech level and how well the components get along.

Yeah, Menasor was kind of a rush job. As cold and unfeeling as Superion is, at least he's stable. Menasor... is not.

That's the case for Superion and Menasor, anyways. Superion's caranial module serves as a network of information, processing the collective thoughts of the Aerialbots and taking action based on that. However, the big difference between Menasor and Superion is that the Aerialbots get along pretty well, and the Stunticons all hate each other.
