Notes: Yes, the plan i mention is going to be the plan for the comics I am planing on switching bodies if I don't get used to this one. My ideas are a Mega Bloks ODST, a Mcfarline Elite Officer, A Barakai (if I ever get one) or a Reveltech Jurassic Park T-Rex (Again, If I get one) I find it interesting that when I looked at Ratchet, WFC Megatron and Shockwave, the way the head was molded on the figure makes it look like I'm realy angry POST-500 Comics Commentary So this is where it all began. I have to admit, the lighting in this comic is much better than a lot of modern comics. I decided to make a name for myself about why the site was Called TFW2005. At the time, I forgot that the Original Transformers movie took place in the year 2005. Oh well, it was a cute joke and it established a lot of the characters. While I never switched to the bodies that I stated, I don't think they'd have the same appeal as an ODST at height with a lot of the main characters. But this would only be the first in what was left to come. Also, facespike is still funny
I hope people have recovered well from their turkey comas. To make up for the lack of turkey they have now, UPDATE WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Notes: I hope it's ok to use that joke. In the movie, the joke did involve buying 4 Pounds of nuts but...yeah The Elite officer was annoying to get to stand. CURSE YOU ROUNDED FEET!!! Not sure if anyone will notice but I GOT A NEW GUN . It's a gun from the bionicle Phantoka Toas, but filled with blue rounds from the Inika Blasters POST-500 COMICS COMMENTARY Kung Pow: Enter the Fist still is a funny, and I definitely recommend seeking it out. It's on Netflix I think, so you should be good. Also, that Elite Officer would later be used as the Mysterious Black Elite about 2 years after this comic was made. Man
Only 1 Comment. =( On the plus side Picked these two up today. Darn cool figures. Now for the begining of the christmas arc. HURRAY FOR ARCS IN COMICS WOOOOO EDIT: Crap, hit the post button by acident. EDITEDIT: Now we're ready POST-500 COMICS COMMENTARY This comic ended up throwing me off for many years, due to the fact that it started as Comic #3, but later the folder got renamed to XMAS 1, meaning it seemed like there was no comic #3, and we just skipped it. This has been changed just now, because we make progress only after 500 comics
"What just happened?" Kung Pow, huh? I remember seeing that movie. It was ungodly stupid, but hilarious. "At that moment, the Chosen One learned a valuable lesson about Iron Claws: THEY HURT LIKE CRAP, MAN!"
Interesting comic, looks like you are off to a good start. My suggestion (and it is my suggestion to everyone that starts a comic) is to select a panel limit and stick with it. You'll find when you limit yourself to a certain number of panels, you force yourself to tighter up the comic and thus the jokes become more refined. I personally like the 4 panel set up (1st panel is for introduction of the characters and setting/reminder of the story arc; 2nd panel is for joke buildup/the joke itself; 3rd panel is for the joke/reaction (if you did the joke in panel 2); 4th panel is for the punchline to the joke). A 3 panel set up works ok, but I feel it constricts too much. Anything about 5 I think is asking for trouble, myself, but others make it work fine (Grimlock 13 and weeklyhero, for example). (sorry to go rambling on there...I've actually considered writing a thread about comedy writing, as I got my degree in communications with a minor in writing and I have years of experience writing parody, satire, comics, and political cartoons).
Good news and bad news Bad: When trying to find something, I deleted the post. All my rage Good: I have a schedule for the comics Comic Xmas Comic Xmas Comic Xmas Comic Then all Xmas So let's start this thing off Notes: So I guess I have a miniaturized version of...Megatrons Anonymous? I'm going to try and follow Mr. Chaos's advice and try to make it at least 4-5 panels a comic unless the comic is really big for a purpose POST-500 COMICS COMMENTARY Man was the spelling in these posts atrocious. And we never did follow that schedule. Anyways, this was when I started to streamline the comics, which didn't mostly come into effect until I think the Zombies Arc/Post Africa Trip. But it made comics easier since you didn't have to drag out jokes so long. It's nice. Also it makes things easier to read.
Notes: Sorry about the blurr of the first picture. The camera's solution to stop shaking is terrible A new recurring character is introduced: KIRA, THE DOG POST-500 COMICS COMMENTARY So this was when I switched to Photobucket. Funny how now I'm switching to Imgur. If you don't know what party I was talking about go here and read one of the comics that honestly inspired me to make this comic in the first place. Thanks M91. Now you can behold the creation I have brought in your honor
Nah, I already have a Tahu. He's OK and doing fine Yes, that's it Notes: The only purpose of this comic was to make fun of the extreme rareness of Generations Warpath. I'm lucky even to own one. It's sort of like trying to find Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster You may notice that the update is particularly...blue. Reason behind that is the filter that makes taking pictures at night look the same as in day was still on. OMP: Oh my Primus The Movie and game self (the one Generations Warpath and the dinosaurs are on) is going to be a recurring area Xmas update soon... POST 500 COMICS COMMENTARY Generations Warpath was incredibly rare, being one of the highlights of the Generations line that everyone wanted. I was surprised when I came upon it one night at I think Walmart. Naturally now, it's really damn collectible, but I'm still keeping him so hands off. Also, now with my enlightened wisdom, OMP is a terrible joke
