Today I begin my new comic. I thought rather than keep it on my site which no one reads, I'd simul-post it here on TFW2005 for all the awesome board members. I'm going to post this first just 'cuz: And now on with the actual Comic:
Wow, 2 replies already? That's two more than I expected! And's that's all the comics I have so far. I try to always have one in editing, one shot, and one scripted to have a steady flow of comics. This is interrupted however, when I'm out of town. Such as now. Sorry if the climbing scene isn't very good, I though a series of gradual panel would be boring, but in retrospect I think it looks kinda choppy. Also, these were shot before I had an over-arching script done, so the pics don't quite match up to what I'm trying to depict. Let me know if you prefer higher res. Also, I'm getting a tripod, so if any shots look shakey, don't worry, that'll get fixed soon.
Alright, I blew my last semi-cliffhanger, so I have to make up for it with another sorta-cliffhanger! (Also because I just finished it and was anxious to post it.) And that's the last update until after I've been to Toys Con (next week.)
Predicted course of actions 1. Wake up Wheeljack 2. Introduce Wheeljack 3. Wheeljack starts making machines 4. Machines fail horribly 5. Wheeljack gets half blown up, the fixed. 6. Start back at number 3.
Whew! Sorry to take so long to update. Something came up and we stayed out of town a while longer than intended. While we were out, unfortunately, the neighbor's kid got into my room (long story) and stole four transformers. Unfortunately they were Wheeljack and Galaxy Force Optimus (My Favorite BTW). This led me to a mad scramble to find a way to write them out without it feeling forced (kinda hard). Basically, I had to timeskip quite a bit ahead. Word of God is this: Wheeljack became cheif scientist and combat medic. Somewhere in the fighting WFC Megatron killed Galaxy Force OP. As Wheeljack and GFOP had become pretty close friends, Wheeljack was devasted. In a blind fury, he went alone into Decepticon territory. He managed to find Megatron and fired a cobbled-together EMP at point-blank range. ...It backfired. Literally. It wounded him critically and the field hit Spy Shot, who had gone after Wheeljack to stop him. This would have resulted in a massive Decepticon retaliation, but before they could mobilize the owner (hi) came in and began packing them up, as he had just returned from San Jose with the news that they were moving. And from here the story continues... Just posting this pic again because I worked hard on it!(Yes, that is every single Cybertron to date.)
That sucks that a neighbor's kid got into your room and stole four of your TFs. Awesome pic of all the Cybertrons.
Hot off of GIMP! here comes a fresh comic! 1. I did a little experimenting with the word bubbles let me know if you think any look strange. 2. This one is F'ing big. Let me know if it doesn't load properly so I can repost it chopped. 3. The photo quality should be a little better now. In lieu of a proper tripod (which I promise I am on the verge of getting!) I just used stacked items. I broke a small pot in the process, but it's worth it to see the results 100 ISO gets you. 4. Also, because the idea popped into my head while shooting and I found it funny, here's a non-sequitor, non-canon, one-shot:
Excellent photo quality, and your speech bubbles are very nice. at Grimlock. Can't wait to see what happens next in this comic.
