Here we go: 1. Glowy effects are a pain to do. 2. I wanted to do a "silent" strip to see how well I could do at making characters emote without dialog. I think I did pretty good. 3.This time the comic was delayed because my mom lost my camera. It's as if fate conspires against me so that this comic will not be posted. 4. No non-sequitor. Couldn't think of one. 5. just wanted to state: this was supposed to be a comedy comic. It gained drama when I lost WJ and GF. Hilarity was supposed to ensue as many of you guessed. The drama introduced was my overthinking self trying to salvage the comic in a way that wouldn't leave massive plot-holes. I want to in the future slowly re-introduce the funny.
Breaking News: Long-dead thread suddenly revives! Sorry about that. We just moved and there was a lot of stuff that had to be sorted out and obtained before I could do this again. Here, have a comic a sign of my repentance over my hiatus: Just wait... it gets better. EDIT: Oops, I realized I accidentally reversed the dialog in panel 4. please wait while I fix it. In the mean time just reverse it back in your head.
Just because I felt like it, have another: D'oh! Forgot the cubes! Oh well, just pretend they've already drunken them. Actually makes a little more sense if you do.
Thanks, they were hard to take because as it turns out, I didn't bring my DVD with me. It accidentally stayed at the old house, so I had to capture from YouTube. I guess now we have a reality divergence point between the real world and BotComix! (Y'know besides the whole talking toys thing...) EDIT: STEALTH UPDATE! (because as far as I know, edits don't bump the thread and I don't want to double-post) This is it, [WHACK OF SPOILERS]! DUN DUN DUUUN! 1. Cookie for the first who guesses correctly which episode is Prime's favorite! (No Wiki!) 2. Another cookie for whoever guesses what figure that is. (No checking my blog! ) 3. Red is hard to photograph. 4. I have to work on re-posing. Spy Shot's keeping his hand up that long was wholly unintentional. 5. I finally bought a couple tripods today (52" and 9"). It'll be a short while before I post comics taken with it though, as I have a sort-of long-ish backlog. Also, the two tripods are both by Vivitar, which means the both come with codes to download the "Vivitar Experience IMAGE CENTER" (weird formatting theirs.) I only need one, so if anyone wants the other one, PM me. I haven't tried it yet, but as far as I can tell, it's some sort of image editing software. Maybe worthwhile. EDIT: Nevermind, it's just one of those dumb crop-and-post-to-flickr pieces of garbage. I'm disappointed yet not all that surprised.
Darn you having cliff hangers in a comic that's only 3 pages old! lol...hope we aren't left hanging for too long!
Delayed due to SFX: 1. Once I finished the effects, I kinda rushed with the dialog, just copying and pasting from the script instead of paraphrasing/refining like I usually do. 2. The bubbles actually came out okay this time, no real glaring errors. 3. Oh, come on, no one's guessed yet on the last comic's guessing games? 4. Those who know will get why I couldn't get Cyclone Effect out of my head while making this. 5. I'd appreciate some feedback if you wouldn't mind. I can't tell if you're speechless from how awesome this comic is, or simply not commenting because of how bad it is. Please, I'd like to know what I'm doing right/wrong/should be doing. 6. Last post of the year. Sorry everybody, no more comics till next year!
Sorry, I meant guess which toy it is. BTW, please forgive my not having posted in a while. Real life stinks.
