-Knex is the first part because he was named by Skyhawk, who is a Knex set
-KO stands for Knockoff
-He's not a female because that would be weird.

I originally planned for his name to include "MegaBlok", but that was too long. Plus, 'Knex' has the same number of letters as 'LEGO'.
