I think we fans can relate to Megatron's hate of twisty ties.

Meet and Greet

 

   

I'd never thought of their relationship being like that but it just makes so much sense.

  Been thoroughly enjoying all of these since you started. They're a lot of fun, looking forward to the next one.

 

I better not see Lugnut humping Megatron's leg anytime soon!

 

 

Lugnut is awesome! I just realized you have the same speakers as me!

 

... Unfortunately, I end up thinkin' much further on this than I want to...


... so it means the strip worked  

 

Now I have an image of Megs walking Lugnut in my head. It's creeping me out a bit.

 

  Lugnut think he;s a dog.

 

This arc has an interesting backstory:

Originally, the arc was going to see Lugnut not in his current character form, but as he was in animated, as a totally devoted minion of Megatron. The twist was going to be that when he went to punch Starscream in the head, Lugnut would describe what he knew Megatron would do. The striking Cons would point out that Megatron never would do those things...but that Lugnut's plans were brilliant.

The end result would be that Lugnut would be elected head of the Decepticon Union, much to Megatron's annoyance.

However, as I was planning ahead, I suddenly hit on the idea that Lugnut is Megatron's attack dog...so why not make him literally that? I then began to think about George of the Jungle and realized that I knew who Lugnut would be in the strip: He is Shep, George's big gray peanut loving poochie. The same is true of Lugnut: He is Megatron's big green and purple doggy.

Suddenly, the arc got rewritten into what I think is a much funnier arc.

  This is the best Lugnut interpretation ever.

They all sound like they'd have a ton of potential, but I'd love to see how the Askewniverse crossover would go.
