Same here, I'm glad that Cartoon Network airs them before Tom & Jerry, but I'm sort of not happy about the new improvements they did to the classic cartoon now.

I would suggest starting with an introduction of the comic by one of the characters or by you yourself, in a toy form, then maybe do a little funny gig in it to catch the reader's attention. Basically in my opinion, making a comic is like making an English paper, only funner. And I wish you good luck on starting your comic.
