Hi Everybody! I've lurked long enough, I think. It's time I posted something.

So, this will be my serious endeavour into photocomics...
    I haven't got a chance to read everybody's comics, so I really
    hope I don't rip off anyone's ideas.
(I know IDW may send assassins after me though, lol!)
This particular comic takes place in an alternate universe where, for the
most part, a lot of ideas and characters from the different continuities
will mesh together. It will have characters from many different toy lines,
with the exception of the live action movies. (But then, who really knows?)

I hope you guys have as much fun reading it, as I had and will have making it.

GREAT start! I love the random Lego and Bionicle parts laying around--they really sell the whole "crashed and banged up" look, especially with the starfield in the background.

I'll be watching to see where this goes.

WOW!!! Great start Krypto! The dialog is sooooo dinobot and the setting is so good it's distracting, lol...I had to focus to keep my eyes from drifting to the scenery while I was trying to read, lol. Hope you're updates come with more consistency and frequency than some of us (namely myself, lol)

Misinformation and just plain BAD intel can lead to potentional catastrophe, as these Dinobots soon learnt this the REAL hard way in their mission to assassinate Shockwave.

Thanks, guys!! I really appreciate the compliments! I'm glad you like it so far,
and hopefully I can keep it up! I have the next few chapters mapped out in my head, and I think I can start a little of the photography tonight. I just bought a buttload of potential set pieces at my local Value Village, but the
flat grey primer spray gods have forsaken me... I couldn't find anymore anywhere. Gerg... I will make do with the stuff I have painted already, and rearrange it so it doesn't look too much the same as a background, heheh.

And finally... (pant pant) The next update won't be for 2 more weeks,(sorry),
I'm going camping with family. So unless I get eaten by a bear or something, I shall return around mid August... see ya all then!

2 weeks, aww bummer, lol...have fun tho and make sure to roll through as many of the series here from the beginning as you possibly can (CHEAP PLUG IN 3, 2, 1,...) especially mine, lmbo

Seriously though, checking out all the great stories here will motivate you and help you enhance your strip from every angle - dialoge, post production/editing, shooting & lighting, etc. And there are some nice tutorials as well...I might try to get around to doing one (if any one ever sees something worth asking about, lol)

    Nice stuff!

Loving your Dinobot dialogue. Grimlock is the right level of somewhat-smart combined with an inability to articulate his thoughts all that well. And the other Dinobots have personalities already after only one post. Methinks I shall be subscribing to this.

And I for one cannot pass comment on being remiss when it comes to updating; my own (and yes, that was a shameless plug! Ahem... Link in the sig. Ahem... :lol ) goes weeks without an update. Just do it when you can and, like Hype1 says, take some time to look at some of the other series on here because they can be a powerful motivator for improvement -- and just to get an update done! -- while being immesnely enjoyable at the same time.

    So far so good!

You got quite a few "great start"s, so let me add mine as well. It's great to see some good backgrounds, moody lighting and of course, some G1 figures. :D

y'know, that hit me as well, there are very few serious comics that utilize g1 figures. (not zero comics, but low.)
and this is a very cool start to such a comic, i'm looking forward to seeing just who else plays a part.

two weeks? pshaw! that's kid stuff!:D

This amazing stuff considering the lack of poseibility that came out of the G1 figures. Really good writing, looking forward to more.

"6r41n6l0kG1" (Brainblock G1)... something tells me this decrypt sequence is meant for only G1 mechs like Screamer. (Since I know leetspeek for a time now, heheheh.) And Starscream playing to win... got some news for ya, Seeker of Seekers: victory can come at a price, and you must pay it, like it or not.

Oohh, let's just say that that decrypt code was just the first of many, and Starcsream is in much deeper than he believes...

Wow! That set is fantastic, and the lighting just makes it better, yet! I love the contrast between the purple overall light and the green glare.

What did you use to make the base set? It's really cool!

The Dinobot one at the start was also cool...it reminds me of the Hydrus scenes from the late Marvel comic...highly appropriate for the Dinobots.
