Yeah the Fire got the Hunter, as the DVD Shows a Concept Art in where Bambi and hsi Father finds his Body (which of coruse was removed) whatever or not it happened its posssible he died since he was in the forest and not in his campsite He would haev survived if he is still judge doom from roger rabbit (as early scripts of who frmaed roger rabbit revealed that doom was the hunter)
