Project: E.V.A.

Hey, everybody. I've been spending some time thinking about trying to do a more "serious" comic where the Autobots and Decepticons are still mortal enemies (as opposed to my other comic; The Unseen Stories where everybody are nice guys. Since my current arc in Unseen Stories is set to continue in Spring, and I'm running out of filler material ideas other than bios, I decided to try my hand at a serious comic at last. Please keep in mind that all of this takes place on other worlds, but since I don't have any backgrounds of mechanical buildings or planets, just a lightbox set-up, I will have to improvise alot such as using old TF Voyager boxes as fabricated walls.

I also want to significantly reduce the amount of cast I have to work with, as I find working with a certain few characters (I.E. the Aerialbots) instead of a whole collection of TF's and whatnot is better for character development in the short term, and I want to do more of that, too.

Anyways, enough excuses, I need to get this puppy started eventually! So, without further ado, I present:

PROJECT: E.V.A.
Chapter 1.1: "This Old House"

NOTES:

1. The panel after Megatron says "However..." is supposed to be him swinging the sword and making the wound which decapitates Landmine. The delayed falling of the head is for effect.

2. The Howlback Megatron is refering to is actually the N.E.S.T. Mail-Away repaint of ROTF Ravage w/ the chrome. I do intend to have that redeco in addition to the Ravage I already have, so I consider Mail-Away Ravage as his G1 counterpart's redeco of Howlback (who was female).

3. Landmine will come back. How soon...I'm not saying!

Cool start. Megatron gets a fun little bit of self-analysis in, too. Always like to see a little humor in a serious situation.

Aaah, Megatron, you and your graceful way of dealin' with the "You'll kill me anyways even though it'll lead my buddies right here!"-situation...

But... the fact he's willin' to take such a risk can only mean that whatever they're cookin' up isn't takin' too much longer...

Hmm...interesting.
