This was meh first comic strip. meh. (the images look better normal sized.)

EDIT 2: I just noticed that I had prime say "Us plastic toys" Yeah. PLOT HOLE!! NOOOOOOOOOO! Oh, wait. This is a weird star wars thing I'm doing. You'll see.

I wold like it if some one could give me some tips, er sumthin'. I am 'new' to this, and have only MS Paint (though my dad has frigin' photo shop, he doesn't have any more licences!!!

) and a five, er 4 year old Nikon Coolpix, ya know...the kind that ISN'T all awesome, but, it takes decent pics. I'd use the "Close up" function, but that uses flash, and flash, #1 Drains battery, #2 is real anoyin', and #3 Make pic's come out TERRIBLE. So, yeah, 'afore I start ta rant, I'ma leave it at this. THANKS ALOT!

Great start. Bumblebee singing "Danny Boy" to the coke can that he thinks is Jazz had me laughing out loud.

For photo editing, you might want to try downloading GIMP 2.0. Is almost as good as photoshop, and it's free. Quite a few people here use it, check out Warring At Play if you want to see an example of the high end effects GIMP can create.

For the camera-is there a way to disable the flash? Mine has a super-macro setting works wondefully with TF's but you have to kill the flash first. Failing that, maybe you can flood the room with enough natural light so that the flash doesn't trigger?

The main thing with any comic is the writing though. As long as you're funny, no one minds if the FX are basic or the photography is a bit fuzzy. By all means, go to town on the FX if you want too, because it can be VERY rewarding, but always remember that the writing is where you stand or fall.
