That was a really interesting mix of comic and tragic elements, actually. On one hand, Screamer's situation is hilarious. Gosh, the one time a mech does something actually decent, he can't catch a break...never mind that every other time wasn't. You managed to make the joke work, too, while still evoking sympathy for Mao's obvious distress.
Awwww poor Mao Chao. I hope she'll be alright. I kind of feel sorry for Revoltech Screamer, too. Poor guy...
hf: I could see it. He's a creep and a jerk, but he's not totally heartless, and he's got at least one battered crumb of potential morality, somewhere. A bad enough shock might draw it out.
