Don't worry, Landmine tied her shoelaces together! I'm really fond of him. He has a cute face and I like that he is a "newborn" Autobot. Kind of the baby of the bunch. WOW! Two Bays...I'l have to frame them; but how to explain the holes in the moniter to my husband Thanks all for the kind words! And to be mentioned in the same sentence as Puppylove Her bot scarves inspired our towels. Now the rest of the crew wants towels... and scarves... and hats... AND Shinkis.
The next set of pics were shot very early in the Spring. They are intermexed with other shots from a later time, so the quality can vary. Anyway, and Jackie Gleason used to say..."and away we go...!" At the Beach...Finally! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Dammit, can't blame him at all and the last part was just... showin' rather immature a solution on Ratchet's part XD
I love it when cats come out in webcomics. And I love that sign "Autobots Welcome". Ratchet is very much in character here it's great.
Great strips so far. Air Raid and Landmine make a great pair, and a grumpy Ratchet's always a fun character to have around. Looking forward to more .
Do I sense a little bit of transformers univer-sity's Ratchet personilty in there? I cannot count how many times my Ratchets left leg as popped off. Stupid QC.
I loved the shot of them trying to transform Ratchet. Just goes to show you that not all help is good help...
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving or a real perfect weekend. A co-worker and I just put the finishing touches on a Christmas tree featured in a local hospital fund-raiser. We made period (1812) dolls, about a dozen each of six different types. My head has just now leaked its final bit of fluff. The reason I tell you this is that the following strip should really have been placed third...before the bots get to the house and meet Ratchet... but I was up to my eyeballs in teeny-tiny doll arms and legs and jumped ahead.(Puppylove...I do not envy you your occupation!) So, without much further ado we present... The Marsh
I think we're back in sync now. The guys had a spark to spark conversation with Ratchet and it seems they have gained a new respect fot the old 'bot. At least they're not too scared of him not much, really, anymore... At the Beach...continued an aside...these are some of the first pictures we took. The story was only going to be about a visit to the beach...however...the ideas began to flow and the more we thought of them the more story ideas began to take over our initial intentions. And I thank every one of you in the funnies pages. It's an ongoing process of trial and error, learning and joy. Now, if only I could get the kids as excited about their studies as their funnies page!
But the funnies page is so much more fun! I think it's cool that the kids help out. My wife gives me the occasional idea for my comic, and my daughter just gets all excited when I make one, but doesn't really contribute. She just asks constantly "what's that robot saying?" As for the bots transforming Ratchet, all I can say is: that's what you get for reading the instructions. That's cheating.
Kitty! Ratchet seems to be enjoying enjoying the cat's company, despite what... is it a he or a she? Anyway, despite what the cat thinks. Nice to see your bots playing on the beach. The pictures take their sweet time to load though, I have no idea why.
Thanks!!! Don't Now why they take so long either. I did resized them. I use photobucket, maybe I'm not using it correctly. Lilly is our third cat, she'll be 1 in Feb. and she likes to "help" with shots at time.
