So guys, some interesting news I learned from over at the Legands of Prime thread. Apparently something's going on with Photobucket and as a result, all my old Photobucket hosted comics are now viewable again. So that's pretty much the majority of my earliest comics ever that we can all see again. Needless to say I'm just going to take advantage of this and try to replace all those comics with images hosted somewhere else, since I just don't trust Photobucket enough to say this isn't temporary or just an attempt to bring people back. But before I go and change any URLs around, I need someone to tell me if they can view this comic here. If you can, great, I'll start using Google for image hosting again. If not, I'm sticking with Imgur.
Awesome, then I can go back to Google Images for an image host. Not that I hate Imgur but I do hate how they always scramble the order of the images after the upload. Whether or not this Photobucket thing is temporary or not, at least the whole comic is viewable again. So much as I know it is anyway.
imgur may scramble the uploading order but at least lets us view images just fine. google on the other hand has a bad habit of behaving like a russian roulette of sorts: some people can view images just fine, others are royally screwed... and after that issue with Getty images a few months ago... nope... i dont trust google for image hosting. OH HAI btw...
Maaan, been a long time since i looked here. Imma try and find where i finished reading but somehow number of pages was cutted down so my saved link on page is useless now XD.
Ah, that would be because of an update from TFW. I think it doubled the amount of posts per page, and effectively cut the size of threads in half. Thus old links don't work because the post that may have been linked to is no longer on its original page. So if you still have your old link saved, try looking around half of that saved page #. So like if you had saved on page 900, look around page 450 for where you might have been. So my apologies for the lack of updates everyone. Again. I have all the pictures taken for this Skrall/Dinobot battle, but for the next update one picture did not come out right at all so I need to retake it, but that's been one picture I've needed to redo since June. I'm just in a bit of a rut right now as this past year at my job has been the worst, to where I'm trying to find another job, but my problem is I have no clue what else I want to be doing or where else I want to go. So I'm just suffering at work and finding I don't really want to do anything when I'm home. =\ I'm still not giving up on continuing this comic of course, but the next update is going to have to wait until I get the energy to just retake that one picture.
So hey guys, bit of an update post here. Currently sick so that's proving to be fun as after actually working two 8 1/2 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday, I woke up today and just went 'Yeah I can't today'. Although oddly enough I WAS able to finally get off my butt and retake that one picture that's been needed to be redone since June. So that's good I suppose. I was also spending time resaving Photobucket hosted comic images that I otherwise no longer had, and discovered I have a 2 comic 'gap' in my files. From my original laptop I was able to retrieve my files for comics 1-202. And I still had comics 213 onwards, so I just needed to save 203-212 right? Well, by the time I had gotten to comic #210, I realized the next one was actually what I had saved as comic #213. And, in fact, I had posted that AS comic #213 here. So my files for comics 1-212 are a bit messed up and misnumbered and I have 2 comics missing somewhere. So I'm PROBABLY spending my sick day trying to figure that all out and correctly get my files straightened out. I'm honestly just curious about what two comics I'm apparently missing in my files. But in the meantime, here's the next update at last! Comic #754
Well good news on the 2 comic gap issue I posted about above. Thank goodness for forum comments. Somewhere along the line I found where I had posted here that I was counting a pair of comics for my comic count when I was thinking of posting my Comic #100. And sure enough, those 2 comics were NOT included in my numbering of my comics for my files. So a long period of reorganizing and renaming files, everything is squared away, all the comics in this thread should now have a Comic # for them for EASIER identification, and hey, this means I can probably get back to work on my Sharkticomics Master List! In the meantime, I've been doing a lot of keeping you guys waiting for updates, and since I'm sick with not much else to do, I prepared the next update and will just give it to you all now. Still looking forward to my reappearance, where I’m guessing I either A; throw a bunch of lifeless cassettes at my enemies, or B; try to convince a bunch of very much alive cassettes that they have to listen to me because they came out of my chest, even though they very clearly don’t want to.
