So hey guys, just a FYI post as to what's going on. The end of the semester is coming up, and so is my birthday actually, about a week away now! I'm only getting two things at the moment: my first third party TF (FP Warcry) and another something that'll appear in the comic at some point, so I won't spoil anything because what it will be is BIG. But since its the end of the semester it means lots of stuff's going on. Between now and May 11th, I have three 3+ page essays due in one class, a 6 page essay due in another, a grade rationale of any length in a third class, and a memorized speech about Transformers (which is at least fun). So I'll be busy until the end of the semester. What does this mean for TAAHR: Redeux? Unfortunately it'll end earlier than expected. What I've tried to do is give everyone at least two appearances in the comic, but I've only got 43 comics planned. I will try to finish those remaining 12 comics (and the next three are ready to post through Monday) but with all the essays, we shall see. Now I'd love to just hit 'pause' on the comic and resume it in September, but depending on how much Sharkticomics stuff I get done during the summer......the TAAHR universe might be lacking its cast. So in summary, don't be surprised if there aren't a lot of updates in the next few weeks, but I will try to get what I've written done. And there may or may not be a new college comic next year. Now in more interesting stuff, I found some old notes of mine on the various comics I've done, and I wanted to share some original plans that changed by the time I posted stuff. So enjoy: Sharkticomics: -The guys helping Sharkticon fight Rahsk weren't the original list. I did a lot of erasing and I can't remember exactly, but Gorast wasn't originally in the group, Chirox was originally going to be Antroz, and Armada Smokescreen was originally going to be Animated Starscream. -The episode Sharkticon dies, Sharkticon wasn't originally going to die. The original group was just Sharkticon, the Matrix, and Smokescreen. Rahsk was going kill Smokescreen and that would make Sharkticon unlock the strength to beat up Rahsk, but Rahsk would have escaped death. Sharkticon would have sworn to avenge Smokescreen and swear he would kill Rahsk. -Senor Platano wasn't intended to be in the comic. But I figured he'd be a great 'partner' for Raptias. -When Rahsk made his first 'appearance' as a Herald of The Fallen, he was honestly never intended to be anything more than the 'big unknown Bionicle guy'. But sometime during the Lord story arc, I came up with the idea for Rahsk and he got retconned into the guy you all know him as now. -The episodes you have gotten so far are not the original order I had them in. Here's the original first few episodes: Episode 1- Thunderwing captures Sentinel Prime, Tankor, Acid Storm, Waspinator, Blackheart, and Prowl and makes them play Extreme Silent Library. (NOTE: No Sunstreaker originally) Episode 2- TM2 Dinobot is sent on a hunting mission and finds Skrall and Warpath. Episode 3- Sharkticon, the Matrix, and Soundwave come across General Grievous and some Stormtroopers looking for some form of energy. (NOTE: Smokescreen replaced the Matrix, but the Matrix was still with Sharkticon, just not physically) Episode 4- A new energy signature is detected and Scalpel, Fracture, and Prowl are sent to investigate. But Tuma has sent Clench, Dropshot, and some Stormtroopers to do the same. (NOTE: Rahsk replaced Tuma, and Dropshot was replaced by Terrorsaur) Episode 5- The Fallen and Acid Storm can't deal with each other and are being hunted by Animated Blackout. (NOTE: Quickstrike wasn't part of this episode originally, and this later became Episode 7) Episode 6- The Program attempts to enact his revenge on Acid Storm and Sharkticon, but accidently grabs Tankor and the Matrix. (NOTE: this became Episode 9) Episode 7- Sharkticon finds The Owner, but he isn't able to get in the base. When he takes off running, Sharkticon, The Fallen, and Toa Onua chase after him. (NOTE: this became Episode 8, and The Fallen and Toa Onua turned into Tankor, Sunstreaker, and Zordon) Episode 8- Another energy signature is detected, and Sharkticon, the Matrix, Duncan Bulk, and Chirox go to investigate. They run into Shockwave, Trenchmouth, and Im No Villain. (NOTE: Scalpel replaced the Matrix, and this became Episode 11) Episode 9- Sharkticon is contacted by the Allspark, which tells him someone is about to find one of the Heroes. He takes the Matrix and Smokescreen to stop him, and he has to fight Rahsk. (NOTE: So much changed with this. This became Episodes 5 and 6, The Fallen and Acid Storm took the place of the Matrix, and Smokescreen was going to die instead of Sharkticon) Episode 10- Some Rahkshi attack Roadblock, Commander Blackheart, and Zordon. (NOTE: This episode was cut completely, you will not be seeing it) Two and a Half Robots: -The plot point where YOP14 sacrificed himself to kill Shockwave wasn't the original plan, and the soul splitter wasn't originally the soul splitter. The device was going to turn Readers evil, and YOP14 would have joined T+C and Halconfenix in becoming evil. Hence why the black version of the Crossovers Wolverine figure was seen on the desk at the end of the comic. -All the characters that died at the end of the comic (including readers) were originally going to STAY dead at the end. But then I thought of something and they were all revived. -The comic where characters like Predacon and Powerlinx Thrust was introduced? It was just my way of getting a bunch of characters into the comic in case I ever wanted to use them. Only Predacon, Powerlinx Thrust, and Avak never appeared again. But it seems only two of the three seemed to care. Into The Shadows: -The original note for when Megatron finishes telling the story of how Shadow Prime became evil was that after Megatron finished, only Roadblock would go with Sharkticon, not Scrapmetal. -Also, Shadow Prime visiting Iron Man was originally going to be shown. -The story Megatron told wasn't even the original story. Here's what it was going to be: During the Great War, there was a Prime that had become so corrupt and twisted that he was killing Autobots and Decepticons alike. He was stopped only when the two sides teamed up and fought together. The death of this 'Nemesis' Prime was the true end of the Great War. Megatron had met with the Prime just before his execution. What he heard come from his mouth chilled him to the spark. Right after talking with the Prime he went and met with the new Optimus Prime to discuss a peace treaty. The majority of the public believes the war ended because Megatron came to his senses and realized the war had dragged on for far too long. They do not know about the evil Prime, or of his promise to one day return...... I REALLY apologize for this long, meaningless post, but hopefully everyone got something useful out of it.
