That sure cleared things up, and good to see'em goin' through both the possible negatives and the positives of this whole thing. I doubt Master Chief is alone with the "Nowhere to go and no clear idea of what to do now in this situation" thing, yet he's takin' it well too.

I've still got Innocence Lost to do, which was supposed to have taken place currently instead of Robot of Miracles, but RoM kinda became its own creation in a good way since it's taken me almost a whole year to complete it. Oh, and then there's that idea I had for a story arc involving Figma Strike Witches, if they ever come out and I can get my hands on the ones that are produced (the more the better). I'm not going to pull the "visitors from another dimension" angle again, but the ludacris amount of jokes I can have my existing cast make because of the fact NONE of the Strike Witches ever wear pants alone makes it an arc I simply must do.
I smell fanservice. Anyway, if they DO come out with Figma Strike Witches, I'll prolly have to get my servos on a few of 'em myself. Something about girls with miniskirts and BFGs...
Trust me on this, but I know of things the Japanese have done that are FAR higher up on the oddity (and into the 'just plain creepy/WRONG by American Standards') meter, so the Strike Witches don't really look all that odd to me. Oh, and then there's the "Mecha Mesume" of the camera from Vangelus' reviews, which is much more odd than any of the Strike Witches.
Not exactly a shinki... but based on an Animaz type Magic, primary magic trait is healing, that translates to incredibly powerful defensive fields. Also the gear, the striker units, are what give the user an enchanced boost in magic. Weapon is just a modified machine gun. The reason they are related to shinkis is cause Shimada Fuminake, the guy who designed various Shinkis, also did some major work in Strike Witches. Also Fumikane explains the reason I now have Darius Burst. (sig)
Robot of Miracles: The Final Chapter Notes: 1. And so, I finally bring this arc to a close! Only took me around two months short of a year! 2. Because I borrowed Overcast, I had at that that time all three versions of the Dreadwing mold, so one or two scenes involving just those three was obligatory. 3. I'm really happy with how Rick Dom's speech ended up, since it is a large part of defining his character as not being totally evil, more of an honorable warrior who lost his path but has found it again.
