Yay! The Shinki are back! God, I miss seeing Vitulus, Tigris, and Howling. Glad to see that they are still using the SUV, but yikes that Wheeljack tried to modify it without their permission.

And poor Sixshot... he just doesn't know what to make of the situation. Hopefully he can straighten things out before everybody decides to nuke the toy Ponies.

Well of course they'd still be using the S.U.V., it's their main form of transportation and is essentially built like a tank, plus it sometimes feels like Shinkis can make better use of it than the figures from the original Godzilla toyline could.

After the ponies launched an all-out assault on The Collection? It's unlikely Sixshot could completely smooth relations between the TF's and the ponies, but it's not like the ponies can't handle themselves if forced to go toe-to-hoof with some robots.

And in other news, I just discovered that this comic has been referenced in TV Tropes for a little over a year. The specific section? Groin Attacks in webcomics:

because ANY webcomic that gets mentioned in tvtropes is pretty much instant win imho!

Along with the lack of comments, there is a stark lack of honest criticism from which I can build upon. I don't know how to address my problems with the comic if people don't speak up and tell me how to fix them. Don't like the ponies? Not a problem, I'll cut back on them and bring forth the old characters I haven't really been able to use for a while. Come to think of it, since I'm actually waiting on something before I can even begin working on the next arc, this is an excellent time for my readers to tell me what YOU guys want to see. Who do you want to feature more heavily or not be used as much? What kind of story or stories did you like or didn't like? What in general do you want to see more of? I'm open for suggestions for just about anything AS LONG AS they do not involve The Fallen (I seriously just can not work with that stupid figure in a main character capacity, I'd have gotten rid of him by now if he wasn't a gift from my sister for Christmas some time ago) or romance plots, so fire away!

In the meantime, I may try my hand at a few one-shots with the older characters just to get a feel for them again.

I don't tend to comment unless I really have something to say, which is why I don't comment all the time. I do really like that you cut down on the repetitive introductions and exposition like I pointed out last time, tho.

I'm bored with the Ponies. Revisit the other characters and let the Ponies fade into the background and be supporting characters to them instead of the central focus they've been for, what, over a year now? Except for the occasional RA/Pony joke.

Have Pomock and Partio been missing since they went to the party with Burnout in Blurry Robot Theater? I could swear you've done a strip or two with Burnout and Rin since then, but I could be wrong...

I'm just trying to figure out why that's been up there for so long and I've only just now learned about it.

Granted, that's the ONLY mention of my comic on the entire site, but still.

Yeah, the focus on the ponies got a little out of control, although I didn't have much control over that during college since they made up a little more than half of my normally available character pool and it took me a while to find the time to make the side story comics. I actually had Prime Wheeljack and two Coremasters on standby that were originally supposed to be introduced later on while I was still at college, but I never got around to it, and since people want the old characters to be in the spotlight again I may not introduce them into the comic until a much later date.

They came back in the strip where Drift fought Exia; Rin managed to use the Miracle Code/kokoro.EXE (by complete accident) to call back The Owner (who promptly crushed Exia by falling on him in alt. mode) and the Shinki Twins. The Owner showed up in two later strips, but this is the first time the Twins have been used since then.

People want this because you did such a good job of making them CARE ABOUT those characters and they want to find out what's been going on in their lives since we last saw them. That's what happens in episodic writing...it's what's SUPPOSED to happen. Otherwise people aren't going to make the effort to keep coming back to watch/read/listen to something they don't have any emotional investment in.

Hasbro learned this the VERY hard way in the 80's when they killed off most of the fan favorites in TF:TM and abandoned the rest in Season 3. It took the franchise a decade to recover.

I vote for a strip about Tigris and Ravage!
