Ah, lovely. The knockoffs--and Wolverine--make their first appearance. It should be pretty cool to see where all this goes.

    :lol

Really, "Mo-Ron" would not be much worse than "Mo-Vor"; so named because...he moves. I am not making this up.

The Quick Change KOmbaticons' plastic IS unusually good. I've got not-Swindle on top my computer at work.

Hmm. So now a superhero is a villain. Let's see how you play this. I'm enjoying the story so far, and I was touched by the waking up of Battle Ravage. :)

Keep it up, man! Full support from this reader! :D

    So true:lol

As much as I'd like to give him an upgrade, that Armada Hot Shot is special to me since he was my first TF, so he's gonna remain the smart but blocky figure most people hate. I have plans for Universe Hot Shot in my comic, however...:ev:

Yeah, the Commandos didn't get good names, especially Movor IMO, and since the only difference between "Movor" and "Moron" is one letter, I couldn't resist the joke:lol

And I totally agree on the QC KO's being much better then expected. I picked the four up for $1 each (two per card for $2), and I'm having fun with the little guys. I'm thinking on picking up the other Quick Change offerings, starting with the Protectobots, I have a VERY funny idea involving them...:ev:

Also, "KOmbaticons"...I like that. I originaly was going to call the group the Commandos before I learned that they WERE the Commandos already in RID. "KOmbaticons" is the name I'll use now, so thanks!

Well, Wolverine is a Wild-card since he's been both a good guy and a bad guy in Marvel comics. Plus his toy is more fun then it looks, his transformation is more complex then his figure suggests.

And finally, expect to see the re-appearance of a special guest soon, but he may not look as you remember him;)

Just caught up! LOVE your portrayal of a tragic Tigris, and how Sideways comes into play. Some truly tear-jerking moments there. Awesome work! :thumb

Now it's just the quality of the shots and FX that has to catch up with your writing. <== Not really a criticism, just saying that writing of this caliber deserves to have the whole works.

The QC Protecto-nots weren't bad. I have a set - they're not as good as the K-cons, but decent. Be advised, though, that recent carded ones seem to have a little joint-fusing going on. For example, not-Streetwise doesn't have his hood hinge. I don't know how this affects the giftsets.

The KOnstructicons are iffy. I would avoid the knockoff Aerialbots. The Animal Robot combiner is good, the Dino Robots are good, and four of the individually carded Insect Robots are good - the mantis, red/yellow flying ant, butterfly, and four-armed mosquitofemme.

Thanks! I wanted to see what I would create if I tried a tragic approach to a lengthy introduction, and Tigris can portray several emotions if you tilt the camera angle just right on her stock face and have her posed just right. I think that the "Eye of the Tigris" is my best work to date, probably because I'd actually planned the whole story out repeatedly (Battle Ravage wasn't even included for most of the first versions of that arc) and I got a decent camera that could take good pictures after the arc began. So hearing this kind of praise is very, very rewarding for me.

Also, I know my camera skills and FX aren't as good as I'd like it to be for my comics (you have no Idea how many times I tried to get Ani. Soundwave's speakers to glow), but I'm still getting used to my new camera, and I'm stuck using Photoshop Elements 5.0, which is the el cheapo version of Photoshop with fewer features. Trust me, if I could get Photoshop in full I would, along with a dozen other things to make my comics better. But of the triad of comic essentials (Writing, picture quality, and FX), the first is well recieved, so at least my comics are 33.333% perfect in my opinion:lol

Ah, thanks for the info. I wanted the Protecto-Nots 'cause I have a funny story involving their orgins from original G1 combiners. I guess I'll skip the other offerings if the KOnstrutcicons and Aerialbots are as bad as you say. The Dino robots and Insect robots I didn't see, but I would like to pick up the whole G1 Dinobot set, even if they are KO's.

Anyways, the clock is ticking for me to finish this current arc. Why? Because I recently placed an order on HLJ, and I've already unententionaly foreshadowed the arrival of another new character, so I need to get ready for that story arc introduction. All I will say on top of that is that although The Owner said it's just customizing parts, the true contents of the incoming shipment are greater then the sum of her parts...

And you got the rewards and feedback you deserved. ;)  That was pretty good work, I must say! I suck at romance, and you pulled it off very well! :D

I don't know how Photoshop Elements works, but it sounds POWERFUL to me.. Haha.. Have you tried GIMP?

Ooo!! Can't wait to see what's coming next then! :D

Definitely A grade writing material in my books. :)  (Though granted, I don't read many books...)

And don't worry too much about the shots and FX. Fun-ness performed very poorly in both those departments as well, in the first 60 or so strips. You'll get better with time.

Nah, it's as Burnout said, it's somewhat a dumbed down version of the regular Photoshop.

But yeah, perhaps you might consider giving GIMP a try, Burnout :)

Oh, don't worry. I'm sure he'll get much, MUCH cooler.

Awesome update, Burnout. Glad to see your next WIP has made his debut.
