i like the parallel drawn between the croc and the t-rex - its almost like the t-rex design being chosen over the croc for the beast wars series. maybe i'm thinkin a lil' too much though. XD

I know I said the next update would be soon, but the weather has not been agreeable with me, so I have yet to complete the next update with Megs and Transquito. But, I did make a comic while at NY, so I'll give you guys the first piece of it while I work on completing Meg's vision. Next update should be here in three or four days. It'll either directly follow the last update with Megs, or it'll follow this one: Depends on the weather. But these two scenarios are happing correspondingly story-wise anyways, so I'm not too upset... Some of the pictures came out a little blurry, but I can't go and retake them, as the rock pile this update is set on is on the other side of the country. Issue Two, Feral Impulses, Part Three: EDIT: Just realized I forgot to resize the images...sorry guys, I'll make the pics smaller (but not as small as last time) tomorrow, don't have time tonight.
It's too bad the TV show couldn't have had some of these toy-only characters. There's so much potential development they could have, leading to some interesting stories.

Very interesting. Now we did see the energon stabilize from the transwarp explosion in the series--but you couldn't call that natural even by a stretch. So we're all wondering how it happened this time. I think the bigger question, though, is how long since the first arrivals...well, arrived. And yeah, Spittor/Smeagle. Got the same feeling.
Another revelation You just get all these locations so right, too Lovin' the energon effect, as well as Spittor seemin' to have a more extreme case of the same issue with what he is than Tigatron had XD (okay, Tigatron really did just wantin' to be away from the others XD)
Nice update. Loved the energon effects crackling through the scenery, and Spittor seems like an interesting chap.
Thanks for the comments, everybody! Sorry for the delay, the next update is coming in a few hours. That wasn't intentional, but now that you point it out there are a lot of similarities. I think I'll take the idea and run with it. I agree. Sometimes I can really agree with the small cast = more characterization, but I prefer a small cast + a lot of (usually returning) guest stars. Glad you're enjoying them! As the comic progresses, I think my non-show characters will shine and be generally more liked than the show ones. I just really like the liberty the non-show mechs offer; you can pretty much mold and shape a new personality for them. Thanks for the compliment and pointing that out. And yeah, Spittor could be said to be a REALLY extreme version of Tigatron's loner thing. Glad you're enjoying it! Spittor is a character I'm really looking forward to writing more of. Seems like all my fan fics have a little crazy mech somewhere in them, and Spittor definitely fills the role in this comic.

Whoah... well at least he didn't forget about his roots, though maybe that would prolly have been for the better. Not to mention that (maybe rag-tag) ability he's got O_O
