I'm definitely going to enjoy seeing Megatron 'at work.' While there are other elements to watch for, I think your direction with him is probably going to be the most interesting. :)

"Feral Impulses" eh... now where have I heard that title before? :)

Very interesting problem for Megatron here. I like the road you're taking him down. It has a lot of potential, so it'll be interesting to see where it goes.

I do have one request. Is there anyway you could reduce the file size of your jpgs? They're taking an awful long time to load for me, and I'm on DSL. I used to make my larger images at about 150 dpi so hopefully they load fairly quickly for everyone.

    Thanks for reading, everyone!

    Glad you're enjoying it. :thumbs2:

Yep, they ate organic material from time to time, but in this Rebooted continuity their organic halves need food to survive. So far, the Maximals have been energizing themselves with the small amount of stable Energon they've gotten from their two mines, but soon they'll have to realize that their organic halves will whither without food.

Glad that came through. Just because Megs is weakened, it doesn't mean he's not dangerous.

Thanks! That's why I choose the Cyb Deluxe Megatron to represent him in the comic; the mold always looked really damaged and almost mutated to me, so I chose it to represent this weakened and damaged Megatron in the comic.

Thanks! Glad you guys are liking my Split Personality Megatron.

Megs subplot is starting to become my favorite, too. But there's still a lot more subplots to come (some that I don't even no about yet; I really enjoy the spur of the moment and last minute elements that make their way into what I write)

Glad you're back and enjoying the comic! :D

Duh, I'm sorry about that! Now that I think about it, I remember seeing that as the name for one of your post-BM comics and thinking how it sounded good. Then flash forward a few weeks to when I'm making this issue, and I remember the name "Feral Impulses", but for some reason I thought it was the name of the BW episode where the Maximals went feral. Turns out that was "Call of the Wild", though! So, I apoligise, I didn't mean to steal the name of your comic. If you'd like, I'll change the name of this issue. :thumbs2:

Sure, I'll see what I can do. :)

No, please don't change a thing. I was just teasing a bit, and I'm sure the title's hardly original with me either. :)

Thanks for being so understanding! Let's just say it's a reference/homage to your comic. :thumbs2:

DPI doesn't really have a meaning here. Dots Per Inch is a rating for how high resolution a printer can get. I know photoshop has a DPI setting that you can change, but with constant pixel dimensions changing the DPI just adjusts the "inch" dimensions of the image accordingly, and doesn't affect the image itself any. JPG files apparently have different rates of compression though, photoshop asks you what quality you want to use when you go to save. Sometimes when I make an edit or crop or whatever to a jpg and resave it, I end up with a larger file, just because it's saving with a higher quality/less compression than the original had been.

These days I'm going to photoshop's "save for web" menu item under the assumption that it automatically determines how much compression it can pull without degrading the image and thus get a small file size.

And the farther he goes, the slipperier it'll get. Glad you're enjoying. :thumbs2:

I'm leaving for vacation early tomorrow morning, but I have an update ready that I'll try to post in the middle of my vacation, sometime next week.

Just stopping by to post part two of Feral Impulses before I go to bed. Today is the last day of my vacation, so I'll be back on here when I get home in a few days.

Haven't had time to post on other people's comics this whole time, but I'll make sure to catch up when I get home.

And now, BW: Rebooted Issue Two, Feral Impulses, Part Two. Thanks goes to Shane Anderson for use of the name. A short update, five pages, today. Another will be posted shortly.

I made the images smaller. Does it help?

Hmmm. Interesting. A hallucinogen? Something that creates fear, or maybe puts them in another mindset altogether? And Dinobot seemed genuinely afraid of the consequences for...well, whatever it was!

Quite peculiar! Totally want to see where this goes.

Nice. The shot of Megs roaring at the croc was particularly nice.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you use to make the layout of your comic?

Loved the opener to the stip-felt like a nature documentory...with a T-REX! :bay  :lol
So Dinobot has no Predacon or Maximal energy sig. Interesting. And I'm with Pun-X, it looks like Megs has been hit with some kind of mind altering compound. What with Meg's already "interesting" mental state, I have to wonder if that was a good idea on the part of his attacker. Maybe best to stand well back...
(Maybe I'm just getting used to the visual style, but the visuals in this strip were very clear and easy to follow. The outdoor setting is working really well, and fits the whole "Beast Wars" concept brilliantly.)

Transquito's powers effect will be explain in the next update, which is coming pretty soon. As for the side-effects...

    Schanks!

Comic Life - it's a pretty cheap program, and it's amazingly useful for making photo comics. I'd be lost without it.

I'm thinking of getting the add on to it, Comic Life Magiq, which is supposed to be like a more approachable version of photo shop: Easy to use, but it still does a lot of things.

Glad your enjoying him. His perils and plots should get more interesting soon, too.

    :lolol

I did write it with that dull and boring british voice used in most PBS nature documentaries. :D

Dinobot will have a different story and motives than he did in Beast Wars. That's all I'll say. :thumbs2:

I did try to make this strip as clear as possible, and the following updates should continue that.

Yep, I like how the panels with characters hiding in the weeds and vines turned out. Glad others like the outside setting, too - I knew as soon as I decided to do a BW comic that I had to do it outside, and I'm glad that you guys like it.

The next update's pictures will be bigger than this one, but not as big as the one before. I'm planning on setting up my own site somewhere where I'll post updates in the large format, for the people who like them that way.

Dinobot's energy signature's explanation will be revealed sometime in the future.

    Glad you like it!
