the first part of the first page was kinda blurry from the comicy bits, but after that it looked great. I swear this update was a tease, so short! but good.
Now that's a very clever, very brutal, very efficient test of loyalties. A very Megatron thing to do. You have a choice Dinobot. Choose wisely... (Agree with Otispq by the way, the first panel's a little over saturated but the rest look fine.)
Hey, picking up some plot elements from "Maximal, no more", eh? It is a Predacon way of sorting out differences, fair enough.
It is, except when you have an army of about 3 soldiers. Then it's shooting yourself in the foot. I think this is more an act of vengeance then a real test of Dinobot; speaking of which I'm surprised we're getting Dinobot, I figured this would be a whole new cast, so either Dinobot is going to be different, or there's going to be more to his specific purpose for being there.
Yup--if that isn't the Predacon way. Reminds me of BW when Dinobot used Tarantulas as a hostage. Megs just shoots them both. And I'm wondering about Megatron's history being on Charr. Is this the Megs of old, or does this Megatron share a similar fate as Galvy by coincidence?
Thanks for reading, everyone! The next update will be here in just a minute. I'm going to group some of your comments together when I reply to them, if they deal with the same thing. Certainly isn't looking good for him! This Dinobot does have honor, but he's different than the one we know from the show. He's not very different than the other Predacons; honor does mean more to him, but his honor is of the Predaconian kind. It's more cruel. Glad your enjoying it! Yep, I was always intrigued by that episode, so that's probably why I choose to take some ideas from it. Yeah, the blurry parts were the pics taken with a higher F stop than the others, so they weren't a clear. But glad you guys like comic-y look of it! And yeah, it was a bit of a tease! The next one is one, too. And glad you're like it! Yep, he's a smart - and cruel - mech. Yep, choose wisely indeed! It is a bit foolish for Megatron to decide to kill him so quickly. He has very few soldiers. But he was angry not simply because Transquito attacked him, but because Transquito knew all of his fears. It was vengeance and a test. Megatron was thinking something like this: "This mech just made me very angry, and mechs that do that don't live long. Now I he dies, and if I can test Dinobot's loyalties at the same time, then all the better". And it's very cool to see discussions like this! Makes me glad that you enjoyed the comic enough to talk about it. I'll b using a couple characters from the show (like Waspinator, who'll be showing up soon). But you're right, this Dinobot is different enough from his show counterpart (we'll see more differences as the comic progresses). I'll be trying to do that with the (few) show characters that will show up. Yep, Predacon's are cruel. That's something I'm going to show more of in the future of the comic. Like I said before, I love reading speculation.
Damn, if someone drew up a comic referrin' everythin' on this piece of work, it'd look professional And the last part was so from some horror movie...
Catching up again! Ooh!! Awesomely done, Noise Maker! I loved the part with Megatron, Transquito and Dinobot the most! Very well written! Overall, three bays from me: . Can't wait for more! >.<
