Interressant. Beachcomber's Autobrand really pops there - is it a sticker or photoshopped in? I'd not thought about it before, but that little dune buggy does scale in pretty well with the Alternators, doesn't it? Hmm... Maybe there's room for one more soldier in Shockwave's army (over in my story, sorry). Anyway, nice little tease to wrap things up with. Have you thought about doing PDFs of your chapters? They'd be better for being read all together, I think.
Indeed it will! And excellent questions His symbol is a sticker: the lighting really does make it pop! He fits in quite well with the Alts and is very poseable. I made him about 6 years ago (he's a full repaint) and am very happy to be finally introducing him! I did make PDFs prior to launching my webpage (see p 1 of this thread). All my chapters can be found on my site, so I haven't made PDFs of more recent material. Click on the "Read TF Retribution" bar for a full chapter list!
Updated Sept 26/15 [ Click the above image to read the full update! 1. I have been impatiently waiting to start this arc! It's FX heavy, meaning slow production time. And now that I have finally launched it, it looks like I'm off to the field for most of October.
Love that first panel with the full moon over the site of the Ark. And I must echo everyone else... Optimus Prime?! What's going on?!
Welcome to the boards! Glad you're enjoying the story. I've been waiting so long to bring Optimus into the story! I'm glad his return has sparked some curiosity. More to come in (about) two weeks! Me too, thanks! It's one of my favs.
Well, all good ressurections need a proper vision sequence to accompany them, right? Solid f/x there, too - way more work than I'd even pretend to undertake! One small quibble: Novae is plural. So "novaeing" is like saying "verbsing." When converting a noun into a verb one generally uses the singular. No, that's not very important but I needed critique to say lest you be overwhelmed with a state of perceived perfection!
Thanks! I keep writing scenes that require heavy fx. The ideas sound good as I write them...but then I have to visualize them, which takes me ages. You're wise to not undertake it But I've been verbsing for years! Seriously, thanks...that was a "doh!" moment for me. I'll fix the offending panel, cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it! I had this concept in mind when I started Retribution, back before SG came out. My production time is soooo slow that it's taken me about 7 years to get here. My god. Have I really been doing this comic for that long??!
Dang... I know I started reading a lot of the comics, including yours, in the Funnies back in 2009, but... dang... has it really been that long since you started working on this comic? =O
Quite the merry bunch. Grimmy seems to have a sharing problem, but it's nice to see that no one is shooting at each other.
