For the sake of quality, you'd be better off making the pics a bit smaller rather than biggie sized but more compression. Take a walk over to TCracker's Mind Numb strip and see how his pics look. They are what I would say is the too-small end of the spectrum, but since they are so razor sharp, it works out alright. Using masterpiece and alternator toys IMO requires good sharp pics or else just use any TF line. The pic quality is to great extent as much a part of the story as is the plot and effects. If I put a minibot into a strip, it doesn't really matter if it's a bit blurry, cuz I'm not trying to project that level of production value into it. It's a (usually) one strip wonder meant for a quick laugh. I don't expect to ever make PDF files for posterity. You've got a great story going, so keep the quality of the pics high, make them a bit smaller, and of greatest importance...keep 'em coming!!
Thanks for pointing that out. According to Buzzbeak, there was an board update last night that knocked out some attachments. I've fixed it now. On the plus size, I've found a better jpg compression, so the re-posts require about 2megs less bandwidth
Seeems I haven't commented on this thread, so I have to say, I'm reallly liking it! The story is nice, the shots are beautiful, and the characterization is compelling. I wouldn't mind a bit more backstory, like if it had been one big battle, a series of battles, or what that resulted in both sides being in their current state, not to mention a bit more information on what really happened to Gobotron, however I'm sure we'll get it in due time.
Yes, most of your questions will be answered in due time, some in the same style as the Sunstreaker flash-back. I'm dieing to shoot those sequences! They're already written; I just need to get there. I sooo want to give you guys a hint, but for the sake of the story, I won't.
Phew! Just caught up! Nice updates!! Man, I didn't realise I missed so much goodness here! >_< Can't wait for update^^
Uh oh, Starscream be eaves droppin'... I rather like the buddy-buddy relationship going on with Cracker and Warp, and that both of them have not much love for their double-crossing air commander. Was it like that as well in the old G1 toons? I can't really remember...
condom dispenser And then Skywarp's guess on some re-wiring... Awesome sorry about not writin' so well at the moment, practically morning here XD
Hehehe. Nice of Thundercracker and Skywarp to be planning behind Starscream's back while Screamer himself is listening in. One thing though, I was under the impressions that Megatron's nickname "Slag Maker" was one used exclusively by the Autobots. I could be mistaken though.
The original toon hinted at their friendship, but never really developed it. And no-one really liked Starscream; it's amazing he survived for so long with such potential to be a 'friendly-fire' accident. "Sherd" is the correct term for what I was after (as in glass-sherd, pot-sherd, etc.) According to the old Marvel Universe, Slag Maker was Megatron's nickname. My Marvel Universe is buried in my closet, so I'm not positive, but I thought the 'Cons learned of the nickname and began using it themselves. If not, I'm taking some artistic liberties, and it won't be the first Thanks for the comments, guys. I've just finished a rather grueling weekend of shooting in the snow for a future chapter (I've got 10 MP's and BT's/ALT's drying out in my bathroom atm...they did not like the cold, and were less than cooperative as a whole). It's nice to be be warm again and seeing that this strip is enjoyed.
I've got a nice warm fireplace thay may use. Send 'em over! I guess Thundercracker and Skywarp don't realize that in Decepticon HQ, the walls truely have ears!
