Cool! More updates! That was a nice move from Soundwave and Ravage, trademark sneakiness from the cassette-cat and his master. Oh, and I love the way that Muppets "only believe in violence for comedic purposes." So as long as they can kill off the Imperials in a funny way, they're all in!
FD: A bit surprised Gonk didn't use his well-known cosmic powers. Clearly he was in on the plan. The alliance is excellent. The inclusion of Kermit is of course multiply . Mobilize Lew Zealand and Crazy Harry!
I've been missing the updates, but all caught up now, and lovin the direction your going with the big story, and the nerd brick is all the rage now, isn't it!?!
Not to worry. I did put them up pretty quickly one after the other, so missing one would probably have resulted in missing all of them. Glad you're enjoying it. The Nerd Brick has become quite popular. I thought it was a fun way to poke fun at myself, but I've seen it put to hilarious use in your thread and others. I bet Fez's feeling quite proud of himself at the moment . Thanks. Repeat commentors are of course very, very welcome . There is so much good stuff around here I'm not surprised. Thankfully mine is relatively short at the moment (especially compared to the likes of Shane's or G13's) so it shouldn't take too long to go back over it. Glad you're enjoying it. Hopefully you don't notice any major continuity issues that may have slipped through from the beginning up to now . Skinny legs don't leave much room for joints so he's not so posable. Maybe Frog Scout Leader Kermit is a bit better. I'll admit I'd intended the Muppet involvement to be more based around looking after those not fighting, or hurt from fighting, but maybe something could be worked out. Something to ponder. I'd say they could just end up on set with the Swedish Chef, but it might start looking like Cooking with Silverbolt. Wouldn't want to step on Shane's toes . A Muppet runs up next to the droid, screams "BANG!", then ducks and covers. Harry does the rest. Onto the next story arc . Thankyou. Glad you've enjoyed them. Seems to be a tradition around here for at least one Prime to be a dick. Fez's Nerd Bricks just gave me the perfect chance to try and put a new spin on an old joke. Seems to have worked well . I could, but I won't. I think if you want a Prime in your collection you've just got to accept their dickery. Asking him not to be a dick would be like asking a zebra not to be stripey. Just a minor note (and this is mostly my fault for not having a profile for him yet, so no one could've known) but my Classics Prime won't be called 'Optimus' because that's Alternators Prime's name. I am leaning towards Ginrai, but not 100% sure it's what I'll end up using. The X-men are my favourite superheroes, although I am quite fond of Marvel in general. *Looks about wildly for more Nerd Bricks... feels it's safe to continue* Mighty Muggs might be an odd toyline to use to represent them, but it's what I have. Glad it works, despite their cute appearence and limited articulation. I'm still at a loss how to do Spidey's webslinging, but hopefully I can figure something out. If you're familiar with Mighty Muggs I can say I have all of the first Marvel wave. None of the other waves have come out here yet. It does mean I have one extremely popular villain who could show up in the future, though . Wolverine wasn't exactly the nicest guy when he first joined the team, although he did warm up to those he fought alongside eventually. He'll be less of a jerk once he gets to know a few people, but right now he's in an unfamiliar setting and doesn't know who he can really trust. Ravage has been getting a lot of love lately. After writing his profile I thought it'd be nice to see him actually doing something a little sneakier than just trying to blow the Viper's up. With the Imperial's thinking of droids as little more than appliances with legs the Gonk makes the perfect spy. I'm sure it made for a nice change to being flipped upside domn and having hot metal pressed into the soles of his feet. Dunno if that counts as cosmic power, though. Perhaps there is something the Gonk's not telling anyone...
You have no idea. I feel like... as if kinda like that managin' to cause an interdimensional/comic an event/phenomenon bein' a mark of risin' up a rank or somethin' among the comic makers in this forum.
i just read all the way through, and its awesome! i love how the characters are who you want them to be, and i love the mix of other toys too. i will be sure to keep up from now on!
I have taken the pictures for #25 and #26, which are two parts of little test of Wheeljack's. Should have them up by the end of today, once the effects are done and text is added. Tomorrow at the very latest. So stay tuned... Ah, Piggy. The man who improves a Gamorrean's self esteem just by being near by. Thanks. Glad you've enjoyed it. Always happy to have another reader onboard.
The first test was with bullets (using a P90). And it failed . The construction bot's a bit tougher than that. #26 - Weapons Testing, Part 2
Just lovin' this settlement and attention to detail, like usin' Signal Flare for data gatherin' and all that. Not to mention usin' the SG-1 squad in such a faithful a manner to the series too And then the general "Everything we're trying out is failing"-situation At least now they know that why even Jedi's thought twice before attackin' those things.
Nothing's unstoppable, these droids have to have some weakness. Hopefully Signal Flare's video will show something helpful.
