He's alive, and hopefully getting well in the long run. That's all that count. The comic is fun to read, but no substitution for health. CH if you read this, take care of yourself and get well.

Was looking for this comic after a long time away from the boards. I hope the dude is okay. He had a real talent and this comic was one of my favorite reads.

Just finished reading after like 4 days and Oh. My. God.

Coolhand, you have inspired me to pick up writing again. I am nowhere near as good as you are, but you have given me the motivation to "get good scrub" as gamers these days say. I love how you can take an already well-defined character like Shockwave or Jazz and make them their own. I love the effects and how well crafted it is, despite most of the story taking place in what is clearly an Earthling's house. :lol  Suddenly I have a great urge to buy an Alternator Jazz and Ravage. Perhaps a Mirage, too. I love the meticulous scripting and set-piece moments, and how you can make me believe that toys are alive.

Everything about this comic is fantastic. Coolhand, return whenever works best for you. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we will be here, waiting patiently for the return of OOTDL. :)

In the meantime, this post will make veterans upset because they may think it is an update. Apologies

No problem Maj. I think I will mosey on towards the first page and re-read the comic. I could use the reminder of just how good this is.

Funnily enough I almost bought something on Ebay from a chap with a similar username - so I sent him a message and yes, it was Coolhand! I hope he doesn't mind me relaying details of our messages, but he said life and time have moved on so hasn't been able to return to the comic, but he's keeping the door open. He says he does want to continue the story one day, but he's had to refocus time and effort on urgent life goals.

He came across as a lovely chap, really pleased/grateful that I'd enjoyed the comic. I can totally sympathise with him as well - having had a baby this year, I've lost track of anything creative!

Also hey @MisterValiant - I recognise you from Twitter! ;)

YES! Comic or no comic, I'm probably not alone when I say I was starting to fear the worst. I'm glad he's okay.

Joetele, I lost a whole weekend reading this on your recommendation.... thank you!

And Coolhand, if/when you read this, this is one of the best transformers stories I've ever read, official or otherwise. Character and tone completely amazing. Also now have sellers remorse on Alt Sideswipe/jazz/shockwave, but my BT Grimlock and Alt streak will now never be going anywhere!!

Whatever happens it's a hell of a story and you should be immensely proud. I hope all is well.

oh, dear God. This is quite honestly one of the best things I've ever read. The plot, effects, and characters are immaculate. My only gripe is the fact that we were left on a massive cliffhanger. Coolhand, if you ever read this, please know that you've done a lot for this community. We will never forget what this comic gave us.
