Prime can't be too hard on Grimlock, one less Con to guard, feed, give medical assistance. I wonder if Optimus might not feel a bit relieved that Grimlock took care of the Shockwave problem.

GOOD.

About sums it up for me. This was definitely one that needed to die. Considering Prime likely wanted him for information (and that this prime isn't the type to execute would-be prisoners) I don't feel the Autobots are the type to do the kind of interrogation required to get ANYTHING out of Shockwave that would be useful. All that would have come from it would have been that possibility of Shockwave being rescued and brought back to what's left of the Decepticons, because he was still alive.

So, this was good. To me, there's no loss for not having him alive back at Autobot base. Grimlock is a badass. I'm quite happy.
