Yeah, as Alts go, he's a more little obscure than say Jazz or Sideswipe. Which hopefully means I can treat him as a bit more of a blank canvas without enraging people than if he were one of the more famous bots...

I love the scene where Grimlock is running towards Windhcarger. Amazing effects. One thing, Grimlock is a powerhouse, he can go toe to toe with Prime or even Megatron. So how it's possible that Windhcarger can put a fight with him?
CH: I mean the "Earthforce" black & white comic at the tail end of Marvel UK. Is it bad for my nerd standings if I admit to never seeing Babylon 5? Good to see Windcharger getting ready to...do whatever.
Enraging people? I wouldn't worry too much about that unless the quality of your comic takes a serious nosedive and I don't foresee that happening.

The sword swinging is done in GIMP. Use the path tool to create the shape of the swing by creating the outline in dots (about four dots should do it- you want a kind of rectangle shape) then drag the lines that connect the dots into the shape of the sword swing. Create a selection from that, then feather it a little. Then grab the gradient tool, select the two colours you wish to use (or one colour if you just want the effect to fade out) and drag and drop across the selection. Mess about a bit until you get something you like. Except for Grimlock’s cryosword, which is just hand-drawn with the white galaxy brush and them smacked with a Gaussian blur. Thanks guys. A nice shiny pebble for the person who can tell us A: The Chinese Martial art that stance comes from and B: The rather famous sci-fi character who seems to like that stance as well… Well, without giving away too much of the next update, there are four main possibilities: 1: My Grimlock isn’t as powerful or as skilled as his G1 Cartoon/comic counterpart 2: My Windcharger is significantly more powerful or skilful than his G1 Cartoon/comic counterpart. 3: Windcharger is giving this fight 110% whilst Grimlock is, metaphorically speaking, fighting Windcharger with one hand whilst yawning and scratching his butt with the other. 4: Devastator stood up inside Astrotrain. Heh heh. I dunno, is it bad for my Nerd standing if I admit to never reading the Earthforce comic strip? Sorry. Was it cool? Groovy, then no one will mind the next update, in which everyone gets killed in a random petro-rabbit attack and the whole strip becomes about the adventures of Smokescreen’s severed head, which just lies on the ground and fantasises about having a body again… Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen.
