What posterization setting are you using? I have mine set (currently, I've experimented with different settings) at 1/1/1. It does give a very nice semi-handrawn look to a comic, as well as equalizing the figures and background if you have to make composite pics.

Nice job by the way.

I...have to be honest here, I'm not digging the posterized look for this, it looks a bit more like your camera is having some sort of malfunction. And the household background is still quite evident despite all that.

Perhaps Shane can help you more with this though.

That said, very interesting premise here, what with none of the -tron's being in charge of the Decepticons, all forced to play lackey to this "Almighty One".

Thanks for your comments everyone, I'll do some experimenting and see what I can come up with...The photo editing program I came up with is pretty low-grade and didn't have an option for the posterization settings, but I'll play around with it and see what I can find.

By the way Shane, I hope you don't think I'm copping your style, I just really like the look of Obsidian's Lament

Like some have suggested, you can give GIMPshop a try. As far as free/open-source goes, nothing better than that.

I would definitely like to see this comic strip get the full benefits of a powerful image editing software. It's VERY evident that you've put a lot of thought into it, and that it is going to be nothing but epic awesomeness.

Thanks. I did download GIMP and experimented with it, but it's going to take me a long time to figure out how to use it. I did figure out how to alter the posterization effect in the photo editing program I've worked with a little more, so Chapter #3 should have a little less of that on it. #2 was already completed, and will be posted tomorrow. I'm definitely going to keep messing around with things and improve. Like I learned with my other comic, I just need some practice

Alright, before I get TOO many "Magnus is a DICK!" posts....yes, he's a total asshole. But there are reasons behind that. I'm focusing on Magnus (just Magnus, not Ultra Magnus) heavily at first not only to develop the character, but his monologues also give us clues as to what happened before the story, why things are the way they are. Anyway, just wanted to give a little insight

Also, like I said in the last post Chapter Three has less of the posterization effect. It's still there, but hopefully not as prominent. I'm debating on whther or not to post updates every Monday and Friday or just do it Fridays since this strip takes about ten times as long to complete compared to my other strip. We'll see what happens.
