This update just kind of accumulated on me, until before I knew it, I had a mess more panels.

Hopefully the dark panels can be made out. They're travelling through the walls of the house, so the original brightness wasn't going to cut it.

The way I see it, if you feel the story needs more to get the storyline itself across, go for it. Nothing's worse than a rushed project. And dark's not so bad, since it's supposed to 'be' dark.

Good stuff. And I've always said the Japanese MP Starscream makes a great Thundercracker. Even before the Hasbro version was slated to come out. Have you painted over the red on yours or left it be?

The dark works perfect, feels like it really is a secret passage, and I love the characterization your developing. Great work

Oh goodness, so much awesomeness in the last two strips.

First off: @ Hot Rod and Strarf's verbal assaults on him.

I love how big a smart mouth Strarf is, though Hot Rod's not too shabby himself. Arnval is meek as expected.

The dark corridor shots were perfectly done! Did you use long exposure for those shots, or was it by some other means?

The shot with Hot Rod struggling to get the passageway open was very convincing as well.

Also, nice touch with Hot Rod's eyes being extra bright in the dark, as well as Strarf's ever emoting eyes.

The shots were taken in normal light, the background was shopped to 'create' the passageway... the place they're in doesn't really exist. The effects were added, then everything was darkened down with the Brightness/Contrast control... EXCEPT Hot Rod's eyeglow.

Here's what the shot looked like with all the effects, before being darkened:
