The Kingdom of Evan- Plot Summary Part Three: THE DESERT PART 1 AND 2
The Gundam began a tactical offensive that would drive all other action figures into secluded safe-zones, so that none of them could assist the others as the Gundam overwhelmed them in their search for the Subspace Drive. The land in between these safe-zones became known as the Desert. The Gundam Armada successfully drove the Bionicle into the northern caves and killed off the majority of the Marvel Legends, leaving very few, like War Machine, around.

Plot Point: Lord Fearswoop, originally known as Starscream, approached the Prime Council and asked if he and his two brothers could attempt to establish an outpost in the middle of the Desert. They allowed it, and Starscream took an expedition group of the strongest men he could find- who didn't necessarily agree with the way the Prime Council worked. Upon reaching a viable outpost area, they set up camp, and Starscream, seizing the opportunity, proclaimed them independent from the Prime Council and New Autobotria. The Prime Council struck their names from record and no longer referred to them.

The Original Optimus Prime had planted vials of Dark Ore, which contained the essence of his "children," all over the Kingdom- and the Starscream's camp had happened to set up shop right above one of them. After mining the material and experimenting with it a good deal (thanks to scientist Swindle), its ability to greatly enhance aggression and stamina of a subject if injected with the material is discovered. Megabolt offers himself up as a test subject and mutates into a far more rageful creature. However, the Gundam continuously attack the camp and Thundercracker, under the new name of Skybreak, confronted his brother Fearswoop about leaving the area, as they could not survive.

Plot Point: Thundercracker is killed by his brother in a fit of frantic rage and plummets into the Dark Ore mine. His body becomes embedded in the material, and is transformed into the Feral Starscream. Lord Fearswoop keeps his body under close observation, as it shows strange signs of life.

Ultra Magnus becomes aggressive in his standpoint on dealing with the Gundam, Brawl more diplomatic- Vector Prime, a.k.a. Jetfire, mediates between the two. Shockwave, who has been studying the abilities of the Ancients since the Second Great War, talks of causing an uprising with Onslaught. Autobots and Decepticons alike continue to disappear, recruited by Skids.

Plot Point: Skids is eternally indebted to Megabolt after the Decepticon save his life. He feels terrible about leaving New Autobotria and his brother, Mudflap, but is driven by his sense of honor and fulfillment.

In the midst of this, the Ancients begin to sense the growing threat of the Original Prime's "children". They use the collective remnants of the personalities of the three primes of the past- the New Prime, the Young Prime, and the Cloaked Prime, and create the Perfect Prime. They give him the Matrix and task him with the duty of protecting them. The Perfect Prime ends up saving Armorhide from a Gundam attack, and the two begin to travel together. Xiphos takes note and visits her daughter, Drossel, and begs her to reconsider her mission. Drossel is driven to find her father, however, and brands her mother for trying to dissuade her.

Megabolt and Skids meet up with Armorhide and the Perfect Prime and attempt to get Prime to join the Kingdom of Three brothers, which Prime agrees to simply because he knows so little about the place. They travel deeper into the Desert and meet with another one of Prime's "children," Eva-01. He is unsure of his mission as he has recently suffered a head wound from Gundam assailants, but hearing the Perfect's Prime voice causes his memory to return. The group is then confronted by Sinanju, the Gundam Armada's more talented fighter and second in command to Strike Noir Gundam. Sinanju deals a fatal blow to Megabolt and Prime, but the Ancients resurrect him rather than letting him die. Prime awakens to Rodimus Minor ,Ratchet, and Arcee, who discovered his unconscious body and are nursing him back to health.

Upon visiting the Bionicle outpost, Prime has a vision of the New Prime that teaches him a lesson in decisiveness. He decides to return to where he met Eva-01, and meets Jolt on the way. Ratchet follows him, as he has become protective of his patient, and the three, in addition to Deadpool, confront Eva-01. Eva-01 awakens Feral Starscream and Megabolt, who have been exposed to Dark Ore and can be independently controlled. Lelouche and Eva-00 become fed up with hiding and confront Eva-01 themselves, smothering the entire battle with extra earth. Eva-00 lets his guard down, believing his mimic to be dead, but Eva-01 stabs him in the back and kills him- the only being able to do so.

Xiphos appears and kills her son, revealing nothing about the situation to Lelouche before departing. Prime urges Jolt to return to New Autobotria and get reinforcements, as the battle could become far more dangerous. He and Ratchet continue for the Kingdom of Three Brothers after Lord Fearswoop appears on the scene.

Plot Point: Fearswoop follows Feral Starscream to the battle, as the creature has awakened for the first time from Eva-01's call. The Kingdom of Three Brothers has entered a truce with the Gundam Armada after they rescued a Zaku from death. Thus, Fearswoop uses code with Megabolt, telling him that they run the risk of enraging Sinanju if they accept Prime into their gates. He directs them instead into Dinobot territory, hoping the Dinobots will kill Prime.

Prime and Ratchet are ambushed by the Dinobots, and Prime manages to talk his way out of getting killed by telling Grimlock the story of their past exploits. Meanwhile, Drossel confronts two Gundam and is "rescued" by War Machine, who decides to escort her back to New Autobotria after she reveals her father is Optimus Prime. Xiphos calls upon the Multiversal Management Society, who sends Ravina, a duplicate model of Strarf, to observe the eventual end of their Alternity. Ravina dedicates herself to the mission, promising not to let her emotions compromise her success.

Grimlock takes Prime and Ratchet to meet Arcee, as he believes Prime is not fit to fight. Arcee, the blademistress, agrees to let Prime stay and train for a short period of time, but she warns him that he must leave if she orders it so. They find that Deadpool and Jazz are alive and staying with Arcee. Jazz has begun to piece himself back together after his Spark has been duplicated on many occasions, and Deadpool simply enjoys Arcee's company. Drossel and War Machine enter New Autobotria just as Jolt is having a conference with the Prime Council. Shockwave volunteers himself to scout out the area, intrigued by the prospect of a being that can kill an Ancient. War Machine and Drossel begin to bond as he readies himself to leave with Shockwave's party. However, just before they leave, the Gundam arrive via Qan[T]'s Dual Subspace drive system, warped beyond the walls of the city. They proceed to slaughter the Transformers within, and Magnus orders the civilians to escape via a secret exit. Shockwave, Jolt, Swindle, Mudflap, and Drossel manage to avoid notice and head for the secret exit- War Machine attempts to protect Drossel along the way, but he is incapacitated by Qan[T]. Before the Gundam can deliver a fatal blow, Ravina bounces in, having watched the budding romance between War Machine and Drossel. She fights Qan[T] and allows War Machine to escape, though he is severely wounded.

Plot Point: The Gundam are seeking Drossel after finding traces of her temporal energy on one of their own- having fought Eva-01 prior, they are aware that the "children" possess supernatural, and exploitable, power.

Meanwhile, Prime trains diligently with Arcee, discovering his second blade. She tells him of the Rule of Three- a continuous theme in the Kingdom of Evan that the Ancients themselves upset in sharing their power with Xiphos. Before, three parts of the deity existed: the Matrix, Lelouche, and Eva-00, but the balance of the world had been since offset. Arcee believes that the balance of three keeps elements in harmony, and thinks that whoever created the "children" believes this two. She warns Prime to seek out the other two remaining "children".

Plot Point: Arcee also trains Sinanju, who stops at her camp before heading for New Autobotria. He and Prime have a tense standoff, but Arcee stops them from fighting. Sinanju reveals that New Autobotria has fallen and is interested by Prime's claims that Lord Fearswoop told him to join the Kingdom of Three Brothers.

Arcee tells Ratchet, Jazz, Deadpool, and Prime to head for the Kingdom of Three Brothers, telling them she will them at another time. With more solid directions, the group is able to make it to the outpost, where they are welcomed by Armorhide and Skids, who were sold to Fearswoop by Sinanju after Prime had been seemingly killed. Megabolt takes Prime to see Fearswoop, who is secretly surprised that the Dinobots did not kill him. Prime pleads with Fearswoop, telling him that New Autobotria has been attacked, and Fearswoop reveals his allegiance with the Gundam. Fearswoop refuses to assist Prime unless he goes to the Below Place and finds the Original Prime's computer, and sends Megabolt and Skids with him. However, he orders Ratchet to stay with him- hoping that the medic will be able to assist in Swindle's research on Feral Starscream.

Meanwhile, War Machine, Drossel, Shockwave, Swindle, and Mudflap return to the spot where Xiphos killed Eva-01, and Shockwave is able to contain some of the temporal energy that has been lingering there, planning on using it for the future. X-23, a Marvel Legend brainwashed into becoming a killing machine by the Gundam, attacks War Machine and Drossel. Drossel kills X-23, leaving War Machine furious.

Prime and company travel to the Below Place, encountering Gundam enemies along the way. At one point, Mata-Nui and his army of "faceless ones" arrive and rescue them from an insurmountable Gundam force, and pledge their allegiance to Prime. The group finally stumbles upon the Original Prime's computer, which is being guarded by Sentinel Prime, the third "child". Sentinel is able to possess Megabolt and call upon Feral Starscream once again, and their combined might is able to overwhelm Prime and company. Sentinel taunts Prime, saying that he will never be able to stop his father, because his father created them going by the rule of three. At the time, the Original Prime, the New Prime, and Sentinel Prime had existed, thus finishing out a rule of three. Now, however, the rule was still intact- Sentinel Prime, the Perfect Prime, and Vector Prime are all alive. Prime cannot seem to best Sentinel in combat, and his wound from fighting Sinanju begins to stress him out. He is saved at the last minute by Sinanju and Qan[t], who have followed the group to the Below Place hoping to expose the truth of Fearswoop's intentions. Sinanju and Prime team up to take Sentinel down, and the two activate the data files of the Original Prime's computer, which uses voice-recognition, which is why Armorhide could not find the computer in the first place. The Original Prime's data-logs reveal the graphic truth- of Xiphos having birthed the children herself, and his plans to kill the Ancients and bring about the end of the world, a world that does not deserve peace.

Drossel confronts War Machine about X-23, and he reveals that they had been in a relationship at one point. Upset, Drossel flees their camp and willingly allows herself to be captured by the Gundam.
