"You're doing it wrong." That was hysterical. Regarding cameras and piccies, don't take smaller pics. It was scientifically proven that taking hi-res pics and compressing them with photoshop or paint shop pro (you can get trial-version psp for free) results in much better image quality than taking lo-res pics with the camera. And besides, your pics are in the top 5 clearest pics I've seen in Teh Funny. If you need help with adjusting image width in psp, or with whatever, please please ask. I have many ninja ways of acquiring useful software, as I'm sure others do, and there are at least two (HA! more like over 30) talented people here who know how to get the most bang for digital imaging buck. At least two of THOSE are more than willing to answer questions without tearing out your pancreas ^_^
Photoshop, you say? I may have to reinstall my old version. how would you go about forming better quality with it?
1) Take your pic, open it in PS, adjust width to 640 pixels, save. 2) Open a copy of the image (juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust in case...), convert to photoshop project, add new layer, apply speech balloons. 3) When you get done fiddling with the speech balloons (this may require more than 1 additional layer; I'm not a PS ninja yet), save the project as a jpeg, which compresses the layers into 1. 4) Post.
