That's really not that funny... what's with all the resounding accolades?

 

Always a good laugh! 

 

It's funny because the new movie Starscream is so rediculous looking. It is, yet again, an example of the industry paying no attention to those who make the subject at hand popular to begin with.
If it were not for fans like ourselves there would be no movie to make and no merchandise to sell.
If the powers that be had taken their enormously pompous heads out of their butts before beginning this entire project and made each Transformer character as close to the original as possible the end result would be remembered for a long, long time to come.
As it is, they seem to be going the way of so many other blockbuster types that have an initial huge build up and could have been great if so many know-nothings in high places hadn't gotten in the way in the beginning.
The Transformers were a great success 23 years ago because of a great story and great characters. There's no need in fixing what isn't broken.

 

I would presume that those of us who are giving the accolades do find it funny.
