This week's update looks to be on track sometime tomorrow, except most likely it will be a non storyline comic. I went to Connecticon 07 this weekend and have an idea of making it into a Toyniverse Tangent! Besides, I didn't get a lot of sleep due to my wierd sleeping habits being my brain's own worst enemy so a proper comic wouldn't be quite as funny. Nothing like using up my lead time on a convention and prepping for it huh?

Well here we go. Its kinda sanitized and just a general friendly description of some stuff at the convention. Next week we will be back to my usual shenanigans!

A wandering ancient China Spiderman and a Stormtrooper with nekomimi? o_O  :lol  :lol  :lol

Your Chaos army doesn't seem very...Chaos-y to me. Lack of spiky bits is one thing. Did you proxy Space Marines are Chaos Marines there?

My Chaos Marines were mostly built on the cheap in early 2nd edition days. Very few of them are actual Chaos Marine figures, though most of my troopers have Chaos Backpacks. (My Mark 6 plastic Beakies.) My veterans are mostly non spikey 2nd ed boxset lame pose marines outside of the commanders and heavy weapons troopers.
(Self created chapter, Eternal Decay. Their symbol is an inverted anhk.) My Terminators are a mix of Rogue Trader era Chaos Termies, and whatever loyalist Terminator figures I got on the cheap. My Khorne Berzerkers are mostly Blood Angels Death Company troopers.

I mostly play foot troops only Chaos Undivided, with a pair of Rogue Trader era Dreadnoughts & an Armorcast Cannon of Khorne (because my Cauldron of Blood isn't very game useful) for the odd amount of support. No Daemon support (anymore) and as mentioned, very little vehicular support.

Plus being a 2nd ed player holdout, I refuse to acknowledge Possessed Marines, Raptors, or Obliterators. Even if I spam the latter in Dawn of War as my endgame troopers with as many Predators and Defilers as I can. I just don't use them in the tabletop game. Maybe when the new codex comes out this fall.

I might actually start playing 4th again but will be focusing on my Eldar for a while, then Chaos, then Orks once their new Codex is out in the Winter.

I'm gonna limit force upgrades to 100 bucks (not counting the Codex) per army though. My nids are pretty much where I want them to be.

I have to say it is wierd that my non storyline comic is the longest update I have done so far though. 9 pages! And I skipped some pictures that just didn't cut the mustard. Every cosplay pic I took is in there though. I skipped most of the anime outfits. Maybe anime will stop being a lolifest for sickos one day so I can go back to enjoying giant robots and burning rage filled battles with exploding heads and powered armor and such..

Ahh, I see. Must not be cheap having a collection of more than just one WH40k army on top of Transformers...

I got most of my 40K stuff when it was MUCH cheaper and mostly metals.

I haven't bought much at all outside of some Codexes past the 3rd edition Tyranids.

Probably part of the reason I haven't done well at the game. I refuse to pay more money to have the latest and greatest figures for maximum munchkin potential.

Update: This week is another non story week. Between trying to read all of Harry Potter before some assclowns on the net ruin it (Rumor has it one dude spent 500 US DOLLARS in banner ads and avatar changes just to make sure he could ruin it for the most amount of people!), enjoying my last few days in World of Warcraft before I let my sub run out for a couple months (Some dude gave my 46 Undead Mage 100 gold so I could buy a mount! Wouldn't even accept a WoW CCG code for a tabard. The card is worth 15 bucks and the code goes for 20-30 on ebay! HE GAVE ME MONEY FOR THE HELL OF IT!!), and painting and reading my Warhammer 40K stuff so I don't make a complete fool of myself this Wednesday its been a hectic schedule. My Castles & Crusades character hasn't had his backstory written nor have I painted the kickass Reaper miniature I got to use for him. At least I get to chill from being behind the Game Master screen for a bit though!

I did mow my lawn today so some things are actually getting done.

But I have had this joke waiting to go for a couple of weeks now and I might as well get it out while I remember it. Expect it between midnight and 2am EST.

Hey, if Megatokyo can ignore it's plot and get a horde of weeaboo chicks acting like the pantload creator of it is Elvis circa the 60s, I can have non story weeks too!

This woulda been up last night, but about 10 minutes after it was ready they did server maintenance here!

Anyhow, here yall go! Next week will most likely be another 3 page Toyniverse Tangency. A thread on another forum lead to inspiration. Plus it will allow me to have more lead time again.

Another Monday, another update. Of course some folks have already seen this update at other sites, but so what?

Call them the sneak previews. Besides, it was one of those other forums that inspired this week's Toyniverse Tangent!

Next week should be the regular story unless something else comes up I have to post on.

Well its true. We could be worse though. Female fandom is far, far worse to the point of INSISTING their views on a property are correct. And they get MEAN about it. Raksha is weaksauce compared to some of em. I still have scars from not properly respecting Char Aznable in #mahq a couple years back! The scars of course being that anyone could take a cartoon designed to sell stuff that damned seriously.

And the Fallout "fans" over at No Mutants Allowed are infamous all across the Internet for being a bunch of mouth breathing, no clue ******s who merely want Fallout 1 exactly the same over and over again. Only better. With no changes. Except they have never said anything half as funny as TRUKK NOT MUNKEY.

And glad to know most folks seem to like the History of Fandom tangent. Except for one dude on RPGnet who was offended. But RPGnet's audience is full of easily offended but well meaning pansies so it doesn't count!

I have the unpleasant privilege of personally knowing a raving Sephiroth fangirl.

    I am afraid...

I keep meaning to look Raksha up. Dave Van Domelen mentions her in his reviews, but I don't know anything about her.
