Or, if not, what happened to all of 'em? |

News Credits: 1 | I think Megatron had a secret underground smelting pit, forge, and factory. In this foundry Megatron built his initial waves of tank, cycle and jet drones. Only when Megatron had sufficient control over Cybertron, did he start taking over the big factories on the surface. But, as Megatron had said before; he hedges his bets. So, Megs placed a similar stasis field around the facility to prevent its detection and protect it for future use.
And, after Obsidian downloaded all the information from Megatron's old head/body/base Obsidian learned about the facility, he sent Strika there to start producing new drones.

Maybe Megatron put some hidden layer of programming in all his drones after Silverbolt got reformatted from Jetstorm - an extra layer of security against Reformatting...
That could explain the "stuck in Beast Mode" syndrome. |

That could explain the "stuck in Beast Mode" syndrome. | Have a look back at this post: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showpo...6&postcount=33
"I have fitted you and Strika each with the means to resist Optimus' reformatting, thanks to my Oracle download which has given me an understanding of the process. I retrofitted Thrust, but there is no way to guarantee the process will protect him."
That particular bit of exposition was meant to suggest how Waspinator could have ended up half wasp/half Thrust, because it was really just a joke tacked onto the end of the series and didn't really make sense. It was also meant to indicate that after Optimus forcibly tried to reformat Megatron at the end of season one, that Megatron decided he'd better do what he had to to prevent that from happening again.
Does it explain the "stuck in beast mode" problem? We'll see.... Shane's Comics - Four years and 500,000+ page views... I'll quit one of these days.
