Shane, I think you should know that this comic has compelled me to purchase a Beast Wars Returns Obsidian via eBay. I haven't received him yet, but I look forward to re-enacting scenes from Obsidian's Lament... Meaning monologues, as I have no other Beast Era toys. From what I've seen, though, that toy is awesome.

Awesome. I love the Beast Wars Returns version of Obsidian. Now I just need to get the BWR Megabolt.

A deceased thread is here revived!
I thought anyone who is still subscribed to this thread might be interested in this picture I took in my Digital Photography class. I titled it Obsidian's Lament, and modeled it after a shot from (if I recall correctly) Vehitopia, where Obsidian monologues in front of a reflective wall in Steelhaven.



You may notice my makeshift hand. I found a red twisty-tie randomly laying on a table where we were shooting. It was a glorious stroke of fortune that gave the photograph just what it needed.

Also, I removed Obsidian's cockpit gun.... Just.... no.

Yeah, that gun could be considered to be in an awkward spot!

I like the picture, and I think the scene in question is from Vehitopia. As always, I'm humbled and delighted that my story inspires someone to make some of their own photo art or comics. Thanks for sharing.
