Training time. Cool. And very nice use of Grimlock... I love the idea that he's been studying Earth fighting styles. Must have move past that "weak humans = worthless" stage. Good to see your story resuming.
As I mentioned in the character list, he feels he horribly failed his fellow Dinobots, as well as a few other Autobots, when he wasn't fast enough to stop a catastrophe in a battle in the mid 2020's or so. After that, he became dedicated to doing anything he could to make sure it never happened again. Part of it was the reformat into a more modern image of a T-Rex, and part was learning Earth styles and incorporating them into his fighting style.
Very nice take on Grimlock and the whole idea behind the training session. I'm eager to see how Prime's first class goes.
It'd actually be boring. Like Grimlock said, they're just going to be going over the forms of Pit Fighting until he gets the cybertronian equivalent of "muscle memory" for them, since he already has them in the Matrix. And by the time they get to Akido, who knows what will be happening.
"I know Akido." "Then show Grimlock." WOHPAH! Seriously not what's going to happen, in any way. I do like the descriptive writing. And yes, new font is much better--easier to read. (not just because it's a tad larger, but being spaced a little more helps lots)
Sorry, guys, I just don't have the time anymore to edit the pictures, render the backgrounds, and such. So, I'm turning it into a fanfic, which picks up where the webcomic left off. Ahh, that explains the fanfic thread. Sorry to hear that, twas such an awesome comic strip, but at least there's some continuity with the fanfic.
I'll miss the comics, but I know how much time setting up the pics can be. At least we can still follow the story.
