The chip saga isn't going away, but I thought I'd try my hand at a more dramatic story and see where it went. I've been getting some feedback down on the Cool Stuff thread as far as image treatment. Making this takes a lot longer than just shooting some pictures on my desk and adding some text, so don't expect updates as frequently as I update my funnies.

I'm liking it. I also like how you've constructed your images to look more like a comic. It helps to blend the elements together believably.

The story has my interest. I'm curious to see where it goes .

I think if I start some dramatic strips, I'll follow your lead and convert my pics to watercolors too.

Sweet. I love your funnies and now we have some dramas. You are indeed a man of many talents. Best part yet...A comic style view of post BM.

 

I've never seen BW or BM... so I'm completely unfamiliar with the scenario... so that kinda takes away from my enjoyment.

However, as with your funnies, your writing is clear, as is the photography... I may not be familiar with the characters, but I can identify them by sight (sometimes that problem makes other funnies a little hard for me to understand, especially the ones with lots of BW/BM/BW2 toys)... it's really cool.

To clue you in, in 'Endgame part 2' Cheetor used Megatron's floating fortress's anti-grav generators to throw Obsidian and Strika into Cybertron's orbit, leaving just Thrust to fight.

Also, good story so far Shane, nice to see a dramatic comic strip for something fresh.

 

Some sort of image treatment was the only way to make it work. The illusion of size just didn't work with straight photography... Cybertron looks too small and the Axalon would never convince as a big ship!

I liked posterization because of the "drawn" look.

That's my fault. I pretty much assumed everyone would have a passing familiarity with the Beast Machines story. I ought to have explained it somehow, but I see others have been able to fill in the gaps.
