This comic makes me want to get some of the figures, specifically: Supreme Venture, Hawk, Two-Strike and "Blackwolf"/ROTF Recon Ironhide but i don't know what specific Gundam figures are being used. If anyone can help me with "who is what toy" I'd really appreciate it.
Well, let's raise this thing from the dead properly then: You'll have to excuse the coloring. I had switched to my new camera when I started these photos, and I was still getting used to the color balance (of all the color settings, it literally gave me the choice between slightly yellow, or slightly red). I get a slightly better hang of it in later shots. For Fishpop, which figures are you looking at in particular? The three Gundam you mentioned are from Gundam Wing--specifically Endless Waltz. Others are....random grabs whenever I saw something I liked. Hope that helps.
I meant the specific toylines that they're from, (I'm not that well versed on who's from what toyline with Gundams.) 'cause i got a "Hawk" recently to go with the -Hero Megatron- I had bought, but it was smaller and it was a paler blue. eBay listing for the "Hawk" I bought: Bandai Gundam Maquette/Model Kit 1/144 WING HG07 XXXG-01SR2 Sandrock Custom GW12 | eBay And Megatron: Megatron HERO Generation 2 G2 Transformers Hasbro Vintage Action Figure | eBay I also bought a "Blackwolf" but he was missing his hands and arm guns >.<: Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Voyage Class Recon Ironhide Complete 653569450832 | eBay
Try it now--think I realized what happened. Missing hands? That's not good. Still a great figure, though he needs paint. The Gundams I got are all 1/100 scale, and they're from about '95 or so. Hawk is also painted a different blue (I've forgotten what shade, but you can pick one out that works for you) For reference, This one is for Hawk, This one is Two-Strike and this is the particular Wing Zero I used. Hope that helps a little.
Thanks a ton buddy. I've been binge reading your comic lately and have been really enjoying it. Glad that it's not dead.
Yaaaay!!!! You're not dead! Well, my weekend is gonna be shot, as I start over from the beginning on this. (Well, and my RPG was cancelled due to December.) The sequence with Ramjet is incredible. Your cropping and light-matching is sooo good.
Holy crap, a real live update!!!!! Thank you!!!! Razorclaw was being a little ominous. A little Predaking in the near future?
It's been some time, but I still hope to see this comic continue. It truly is the best one I've ever had the privilege to read during my time here. Always entertaining, always bringing life to childhood trinkets. I really do wish for you to continue and finish, though I think a comic like this should be popular enough to go longer than you intended. Especially considering all the crap on the internet that refuses to die. If you're still around Pun, cheers and God bless.
I need to go back and re-read this from the start. I remember the general storyline well enough, but it's been long enough that I can't remember a lot of details. I always enjoy a new chapter in the story though.
My "Necromancy" powers worked before, let's hope they work again. This comic is really good!! It got me into collecting Gunpla!
After just over 5 years; I finally got around to buying the 1/100 High Grade Sandrock Custom that was used as "Hawk" in this series. He arrived a couple of days ago and is already built; ready to take pride of place in my display since he's why i've become a Gunpla nut. Now if only i could afford the Master Grade...
