And to top it all off this whole update was shot last week (before the previous update) in five minutes because I wanted to open up Jhiaxus already.
"Liege Centurio"? Is Liege Maximo going to make an appearance as an elder-brother-type to Jhiaxus. Also, you have officially found the best use for bubble packaging ever!
The Liege Maximo was killed around the same time Jhiaxus was imprisoned (and he was actually Nova Prime in disguise the whole time.) Even if he were to reappear I have no idea who I'd repurpose as him. The bubble packaging prison was a spring-of-the-moment good idea.
Speaking of repurposings...I just got the idea to use Cybertron Optimus Prime as God Ginrai. I have the trailer and all his accessories, I just don't have the cab bot...so I need to find me one and Wing Saber... EDIT: Just checked the eBay prices for both Prime and Wing Saber, that's a NOPE.
I agree, I like the second laser shot the best. And that sucks that the eBay prices for Cybertron Optimus Prime and Wing Saber make you say "NOPE." Keep searching, though; I'm sure you'll be able to find those two for the right price sooner or later.
I think I might have found it. $55 for both (Prime's $35, Saber's $20) on /r/toyexchange. And the seller is willing to negotiate bundle pricing
Although.... Shipping would've been like $10 and the seller also had RID Ultra Magnus, which a friend of mine wanted so he could complete Omega Prime. So I ended up dropping Prime and Wing Saber and getting Generations Doubledealer for myself instead. TBH I'm in no rush to get Cybertron Optimus. Fear not though, my friend will be giving me ROTF Bludgeon and one other yet-to-be-decided figure for Ultra Magnus
Status Updates: Doubledealer has arrived and I should be doing the RID Magnus for Bludgeon and Scourge trade today. Next update has been shot. We'll see the aftermath of what Straxus was up to while Bug Bite was breaking Jhiaxus out of jail. My pirated copy of Photoshop stopped working, so until I get that dealt with I'll have to use GIMP. And, as a taste of what's to come.... Characters debuting in the next update: Kup Hot Rod Cliffjumper Nightbeat Characters debuting in future updates: Doubledealer- a mysterious mercenary whose true allegiance is in question Bludgeon- the Decepticon general has just emerged from decades of self-imposed exile Scourge- Cyclonus's best bud from the war joins up with Straxus's crew. Shockwave and Soundwave- they have their own plans for the Decepticons which run counter to Straxus's... Galvatron (found a fairly cheap Mania King on eBay, 5 days left on the auction. If it gets eBay sniper'd then I'll just use my G1 Galvy)- will be IDW-style, no connection to Megatron.
