Hello! I'm afraid I don't bring an update today, but just wanted to post this message to all of those who have enjoyed my comic so far. I cannot thank those of you that enjoyed my comic enough, I really can't. After two months of being idle, I've decided to pull the plug on this comic, but in a way it isn't dead. So first I'll say this. I originally had the idea for this comic on the day I posted the first update, it was a rather rash decision and the only reason I made it was because I never made any rash decisions, and took a chance. From there I found myself conflicted over what exactly is was I wanted to do with the comic. The story received massive overhauls and what updates we got where nothing like what we started with. I simply had not taken anytime to prepare a story or build a universe for it to inhabit. This caused a lot of unneeded stress upon an already stressful school life. I of course needed to focus on school more. There where many times this comic felt like a burden in the beginning, not because I made it one but because now that i had it out there all I wanted to do was write the perfect the story that everyone would enjoy. Nothing make me happier then seeing the comments you guys post because it lets how I did on something I love, and plus if I get to make something thats special to me, and others can share in it I find it wonderful. So, with that being said this comic is "cancelled" of sorts. Even though I have made massive progress and the BlackLight Universe is now a much more expanded and immensely detailed place there are other things I'd like to do before I might revisit the idea. But I would like to say before I move on that every single day since I posted the first update I have thought about this comic, and I always looked for new ideas and figures for it. It was really fun, extremely fun, just stressful at more times then I'd like! For those of you who read this I thank you. This comic, or at least what it is in it's core, or it's ideas, will return in the future. But theres another tale to be told before that day arrives!!

That's unfortunate. However, school is a priority. That being said, it would be nice to see this comic continued/rebooted some time in the future, when you have the time.
Take your time, and even if things did not end up as you expected, taking that risk was a cool thing.
Thanks to all you guys who understand! I can't say the next comic I post will be a rebooted/reposted Blacklight, I guess I forgot to mention that part! Theres another comic thats been on the backburner for a while, and was going to happen before I decided to make this one when I did. I figured I'd let you guys know the possibilities of what would have happened if i had continued The BlackLight, and tell you what I planned next. The first script for The BlackLight actually was a cross Marvel Cinematic universe and the RID universe, (this was the script I was using for the most part.) meaning it involved The Avengers and more in Lego form as companions to Team Bee. Instead of having Denny and Russell as the main human companions a non-superpowered Peter Park would have helped them out/stayed with them. The story took place in the southern United States and the Autobots would have had to tried to track down the escaped covicts from the abandoned prison facility, which they used as a base. As metioned in a previous update the facility doubled as a scientific research station. One apptly named Aperture Science. The main plot for Peter Park would have been using his new powers go track down the "Rhino" and others in an attempt to fulfill his destiny as Spider-Man. Bumblebee would have paralelled that in his quest to become a leader and defeat Steeljaw. A lot of the story would have taken place on Cybertron as well, as a young SkyFall unravelled a huge conspiracy and curruption of the new government, named a hidden Cryotek controlling Ultra Magnus and Prowl. Optimus Prime would have been shown training with the 14 Primes and using Drift as an agent to prepare for his return to the living world. Eventually Combiners would have shown up this would have signalled The Avengers to rally with the Autobots to stop coming threats. Nemesis Prime and Ultron aould have served as the main villains on two different fronts. Optimus VS Nemesis and The Avengers/Autobots would have faced Ultron, who would eventually get ahold of The BlackLight, and then Megatron would have returned. After that a much larger story would have unravelled and the universe would have continued to grow alongside the upcoming Marvel Cinematic movies, go from Civil War to Infinity Wars. This version of the script at times would have taken away from the Transformers and focused on seperate Marvel characters. One of the reason I wasn't to found of his script is that it would have taken me years to do, and I had other things I wanted to do during that time. So I wanted a script that I could have finished by the end of the year so I could roll out a much larger and well-built comic. The second script scrapped all of the Crossover material, but essentially was the same. Bumblebee would have focused on amassing all the Autobots on Earth into an army to help him fight off a returning Megatron and Starscream(who had posessed Steeljaw.) Optimus's training would have been much more important to trh story and the history of the BlackLight would have been a key topic and introduced a new character to the fold that I've been wanting to get out for years. Unicron would have come for the BlackLight and everyone would have had to team up to stop him. In the end Bumblebee would have had the choice between returning their universe as it once was or leaving it as is, as their universe had been caught in a reaccuring cycle where the universe was always rebooted, similar to the Mass Effect trilogy. This script actually took a lot from Mass Effect.. Just wanted to let any who cared what would have happened. This other project I've been alluding to is hoepfully coming by the end of the year, but nothing is finalized. I still want everything to be perfect and well timed.
I love those ideas, and would love for the Marvel crossover one to show up, should you ever decide to make it.
