Rubex used a Revive And I'm back. Sorry for not posting in forever, but God, school has been a pain in the ass so far. Finals last year were a nightmare, and now I've got two math classes this year (Stochastic Models and Discrete Mathematics), and my Latin teacher's trying to get us to memorize the Aeneid. So, yeah, I've been studying my ass off for the past few months (not helped that I've gotten myself addicted to Minecraft). However, I've decided to continue doing this comic. The plan is, every Saturday, I will try to do SOME work on the next comic, whether it's just writing the script or taking pictures or putting the thing together. This doesn't mean that I'll post a comic every weekend, but hopefully, I'll be able to avoid going long periods without updates. Hopefully. And with that, here's Comic 7: Notes: The picnic table and tea set were from Hobby Lobby. They're cute, but getting Mary to hold the tea cup was a pain in the ass. This was shot with a 20-megapixel camera I bought for Christmas. I'll be using it from now on, assuming I don't break it like the clumsy ox I am. No, Takanuva's fine. It's just an aesthetic choice by Takanuva as a reminder of the dual nature of light and darkness, that sort of thing. (out of universe, I was running out of white parts, and I thought it would look cool)
Comic 8: Before you say anything, I realize that Knight Gundam's headpiece fell off during shooting. I haven't been able to find it yet; most likely, it's still under the tree....but there's also the possibility that an animal picked it up and ran off with it. Orz This and the next comic were originally part of Comic 7, but I ended up splitting them up to make them easier to digest. I was thinking about posting this later this week to space out the updates a little bit...but my neuroses wouldn't let me do so (since, again, it used to be part of a larger comic that was meant to be posted yesterday). That being said, expect the next part Wednesday at the latest.
Comic 9: AN: I was planning to shoot this update (well, set of updates) at the lake behind my house, like I did with the update before the hiatus. I had to change my plans because while I was working on said pre-hiatus update, somebody, no joke, called the police on me. I didn't want to deal with that again, so I just ended up shooting in my own backyard. Honestly, I feel I should have done this after I finished up Cybertron Metroplex's arc, but whatever. What's done is done, and I like shooting updates that let me go outside (even if I do risk losing pieces of my expensive imported action figures). Speaking of, next time, we're going to check up on Cybertron Metroplex again. Expect Autobots in the next few updates...and Decepticons as well.
