Apparently some Hot Toys Captain America figure came with it as an accessory. I bought it from eBay for $6 shipped. I think it works pretty well.

love this one! this is one of those examples where the repaint works and in alot of ways, the fig feels better than the original (skids). this one is the sleeper hit of the wave. everyone waiting and waiting for windblade (or wingblade, i actually forgot the name), and from all accounts it turned out to be steamy pile. crosscut baby!!!

 

Having gotten to see one in person...I like it...though I don't know if I want to get it yet.

I wouldn't say Windblade is a pile. Flawed, yes, but not a pile. She's articulate as fuck and has a ton of character and personality.

 

Mine unfortunately has horribly loose joints and feet that will not sit right to complete his alt mode without large gaps present.

Love the look of this one, QC puts a damper on it.
Thankfully my skids is prefect so I still get to experiance the mold QC free and free of self "fix its"

 

Haha. There is a skinny part on the handle that gradually gets thicker, so you can find the sweet spot where he holds it pretty securely.

 

Initially wasn't going to pick this guy up, but seeing as he seems to be getting a bit more prominent role in MTMTE I got him anyway.

He's...not as good as Skids. He's cast in a swirly silver plastic (think Goldfire Bee, but silver instead of the 'gold')..and it just looks meh to me. Ok, but meh.

Head sculpt is really nice, including some nice white/blue detailing, and the metallic red paint used on him are cool.

The reason I feel he's not as good as Skids is because I find his colorscheme to be working less good. Where Skids had dark grey or silver, Crosscut has black, with a really primary yellow for his headlights and missiles. And his feet really do feel like clownfeet now that they are painted in one color.

I'd probably feel better about him if this had been my first version of the mold, because the mold is fine, but he doesn't beat Skids for me. Sorry!  

 

I always thought Skids looked cool but couldn't get past the face. I just didn't like it. Ordered Crosscut online and I'm excited to finally get him!

 

One of the wheels on mine has a lot of resistance so it doesn't roll as smoothly as the other 3. I believe excess paint is the issue. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

 

Found this guy new for $6. I like him more than Skids, if only because of the amazing new head (which is far more articulated) and that I didn't have to paint him, which means I can actually handle him. But seriously, that head has so much depth and classic robot design to it, it's just amazing. Skids is great because he's Skids and I like the character more, but I'm definitely playing with Crosscut more.

 

I hear ya... I recently broke this guy back out and put him on display. Great looking figure and definitely a superb head sculpt!

 

I'm slowly acquiring the few figures that I missed from the Generations line and I picked up Crosscut off of eBay. I like him a lot and I love the head sculpt (I just wish they had painted the inner surfaces of the helmet). Very reminiscent of his G-1 self. other than that he's very similar to Skids, But I'm very glad to have gotten him.

 

Im glad I got him as well. Would of been a nice nod to G1 if he came with his drone scooter too.

 

This happen to anyone else?

 

Mine doesn't have that problem...but if its one of the clip wheels it should be an easy fix.
