Looks pretty interesting. I didn't want to like him cause I didn't want two BB's, but I'm gonna get him anyways.

The back kibble makes the mold less aesthetically appealing to me. It's just me but I find back kibble akin to a 'lazy design' or an easy way out.

LOL! You got me dude! I should be more specific - this BB's back kibble is overly large as compared to previous Bees...and that's why I've not been impressed by movie Bees.

Still better than both the leader molds for AOE prime. That is even lazier.

Yeah, I agree. That's why I can't bring myself to buy the AOE LC Prime...I really can't stand the backpack and it looks so kiddish. I can't believe after the beauty (IMO) we got with the ROTF LC Prime, we got that! X(

Me too. The only mainline figures I did not buy from the AOE line is the two leader primes. Those stupid kibble and backpacks is just not acceptable for this size class. Still hoping for a voyager AOE western star prime.

Battle mask goes down enough you can still see the whole radio circle thing.

Which might be a little weird for Stinger...

I think its a fantastic looking bee figure.

Just needs some black on the bottom of the hood to make it not so noticeable.

Really liking this figure a lot more than i had expected to. It has alot of nice design elements, but its definitely not without its faults. Most of which are issues of coloration.

The most glaring issue of this figure is the alt mode paint, or lack thereof. Some car mode panels are painted, and others are not. It looks awful. They definitely cheaped out by not painting all car mode panels. Very mismatched colors and also both shades are too orange. In robot mode, mine has some very sloppy paint applications. his forearms and hands are totally unpainted and it really looks like something is missing and cheapens the look of the figure again.

Other than paint, he has a few small bits that hinder some of his joints a little and it seems like they just could have been a bit more clever with some of the small edges that obstruct eachother. This is a minor nitpick though.

I feel that the simplified transformations of the AoE line do have an upside. They allow for a much more 'action figure-esque' robot mode thats not hindered by transformation gimmicks. Bumblebees sculpt is very aesthetically pleasing in both modes and he looks like a total badass due to having some excellent proportions. Finally, the gimmicks he does include, arm cannon and battle mask, are understated and awesome. His battle mask is really sick. I think it goes down a bit further than some pictures have shown.

Overall a very fun and awesome looking yet imperfect figure. Most of his faults can be fixed with some paint so for some this may not be an issue at all.
