Got the Takara version from ToyDojo last week,thanks TD. Played with him for a bit now and I enjoy him. I do enjoy having multiple weapons and being able to configure them as I want. I dig the green light piping on mine and the Autobot symbol on his chest.

I saw the Takara might have fixed the holes issue but on mine some weapons are loose fit and others are tight fit. I also am worried about those pinned joints and ratchets going bad down the road. I also think I need to add some polish to hing above his elbows,theyre really lose and he barely hold his guns let alone one.

Regardless of those issues I think hes a good figure but he could of been a better figure. A few design changes and he would be epic. Its like everyones saying the design is nice but poorly excuted. A hing or two on his back wheels so they could fold up into legs would of been nice to. Pegs or pegs holes in his hips to plug his weapons in there would of been cool. I think a wrist swivel would of made a huge difference too. Anyword on the 3rd party upgrade for him? Doesnt look like its coming out.

Also curious as to whats the best look for all his guns combined? So many options.

 

I have the Superlink Roadbuster version and he has the same weapon hole problems as Hasbro Roadbuster and Botcon General Optimus.

 

Bummer. Yeah Im having trouble with the missile launcher wanting to stay put by his head in both spots. I may put some nail polish on the peg to thickin it up a bit.

 

I was worried something was wrong with mine. There has recently been a bunch of Roadbuster releases (I guess old stock that never made it to the floor) in my local area, and I noticed they were all much darker than mine. I'm glad that it was just a running change, and not something I had done to the figure.
